Good dead blow hammer set

They seem to be good so far. Nice grips, better than most dead blow hammers. They seem to be good quality, we'll see eventually.

Better then harbor freight

Hammer is good and solid and I see it lasting a couple years with daily use. Can't beat it at the price point. The rubber handle grip is a 2 piece and after a couple good whacks it was already slipping off. Little bit of loctite and all is well.

Work great if your not someone who uses daily

I work at an NHRA race shop and honestly I thing box truck one with the exception of few are about the same quality. Swings like a hammer and hits like one. Dead blow got a bunch of nice slices in it from hitting main caps when the tool just isn’t working and you got to get the old trusty one out. They are good enough for me. And when it does finally give up, well I’ll be buying a new pair. Also nice enough I bought a second set for my brother for Christmas and he loves them. Laying on my MATCO 6S they look the part. No one is gonna say anything cause they look just like them, last just about as long. And honestly. Honing oil, break clean, used/fresh oil, Lacquer thinner. You name it. Everything is still the same feeling, probably butyl rubber over molded so if it’s oily, she’s a slip one. But a shot of brake clean or a rag of the ol’ lacquer thinner will and does make them as clean as they need to be for my OCD. Great stuff, great price.

Awesome set, gets the job done that’s for sure.

Very nice quality, used a handful of times for various jobs, very nice for not marking up material. You can really hammer something with these and they don’t show any signs of wear or damage, and I swing them hard when I’m working on something in the shop. Great for at home and at work. Price is very low considering the quality and durability of these dead blows. Doubt I’ll have to replace them anytime soon, these are my go to when something needs a push or shove and won’t budge by conventional methods!

YiyiTools Dead Blow hammer set ,3 piece/1 lb,1.5lb & 3lb

This dead blow mallet set seemed reasonably well priced compared to buying them separately.Quite a significant saving!They appear to be extremely well made and give something a decent whack with the 3lb mallet and there’s no rebound and a shockproof design makes them easy to use and more importantly easy on your joints as well .They feel well balanced in the hand.The Polyurethane coating seems very strong and I can’t see these splitting if a really hard blow is given on rough surface metal.But like any tools, if you use them properly and use the correct tool for the right job then they should last a very long time.The Red and Black styling makes this deadblow mallet set so easy to like.The variety of sizes chosen make then suitable for all sorts of jobs in the workshop.I look forward to getting a decent lifespan from this Deadblow mallet set and very happy with the design and colours.With a wide variety of hammer and mallet types in my arsenal I think I’ve got this well covered.

Great looking tools

Unfortunately the looks can't be every thing. Hammer cracked the plastic after the first use. The dead blow works well though. So for 18 dollars, is not so bad. Swing for swing, still better than my snap on hammer. $18 per swing vs $200 per swing

Excellent for the price

I dont expect the dead blow to last 20+ years but they seem ok if I do put them in the shop. both hammers looks well constructed. feels like an all metal construction covered with plastic The dead blow is of good quality and works perfectly. The ball peen to, so I guess light to medium duty and they will last a life time. In heavy duty maybe a year or two. It really depends what you do with them.
