Works great
Doesn’t mar or leave marks. Can really swing a nasty blow without tearing something up.

Now this is a Hammer!
I have always used the old fluorescent orange discount tool versions and they have always been "fine". My last version started bleeding shot out the side like they do, but instead of heading down to the local discount tool and espresso bar for a replacement, I decided to pimp my hammer game a little and see how the other half live. Years ago, I popped for an Estwing framing hammer and it really opened my eyes about how much smoother a good hammer could be. After buying this big boy, I honestly feel more confident in my persuasion of a part since this hammer has a good amount of traction on the face. When you really smack it, the hammer doesn't give you any drama. It is as if this hammer was saying "Is that all you got big boy?", rather than my old fluorescent orange hammers saying "You feeling lucky, punk?" I really like this hammer.

Good hammer but not 45 lbs
The hammer is less than 45 lbs. They probably should change the description. Otherwise it's kinda useful.

Solid tool with a variety of uses.
I have been impressed with the quality and resilience of this dead-blow hammer. Provided you use it on materials suitable for soft face hammer, the face has resisted any marking or scratches. Would gladly re-order this product without hesitation.

Superior product
I bought 3 different dead blow hammers before buying this one. It is far superior in all ways. Smaller head than all the other hemmers with the same weight. The swing just feels right. The material is durable yet it doesn't damage easily. Easy to index in the hand, doesn't slip. Great product.

Wasn’t sure what I was buying but good
It’s good, so far used to drive PVC and bamboo into the ground. I wish it was solid rubber—product description was unclear. Took model number off rubber mallet purchased some 15 years ago so assumed it would be similar but this is soft rubber filled with sand or something, not hard rubber around a metal hammer-type top part as hoped. Probably not great for my uses but if you’re using on smoother flatter surfaces probably just fine.

Trusted brand.
I work as a forklift mechanic. Better than pricier alternatives. The truck wanted $145, same size. Nope.

high quality dead blow hammer
Great product!

Purpose unknown
I’m not sure what I would use this dead blow for. It’s terrible in the shop equally bad for interlock or masonry. Incredibly expensive paper weight. Plastic surround is hard and has no give or rubber properties.

Best dead blow hammer I have owned and I make a living beating on things.
This is an excellent dead blow hammer. I have been driving metal sleeves into shafts with no damage to the plastic cover. These sleeves are 1/4" thick and would slice material off my previous cheapo dead blows. This hammer is pricey but in this case you get what you pay for. If I lose it or finally kill it, I will buy another one in a heartbeat. Nice to see the made in USA cast into the handle too. We can make some pretty good stuff on this side of the pond. Qwack Qwack

Great quality hammer!
Awesome hammer and durable. I'm a mechanic and use this a lot to remove rotors I have to re-install. Works great!
