Works but ripped

I’m a dental hygienist and used this to keep my glasses on when I added a light. They work well but after a few uses they ripped when I put my glasses into them. They still function but would have thought they’d lasted longer.

Strap 'em on...you'll love them!

This is a very simple product that performs well. My sunglasses (Gargoyles Squall) are full frame, which I like because it keeps the wind from drying out my contacts. However, they don't sit tight against my cheeks and forehead, which is fine for activities such as driving a car, or lounging by the pool waiting on your Mai-Tai. When I'm out in the yard weed-eating, or at the range, or flying down the open road on my hog, I need something to keep the grass blades, bullets, and bugs out of my eyes, ya know? They were easy to install on my earpieces...I didn't pull them up as far as I could, maybe a half-inch or so...just enough so that I didn't worry about them slipping off. This way, they sit behind my ears and don't feel uncomfortable. I usually leave the bead at the end so they drape down and allow me to put on and remove my glasses easily. This way I can take them off and they hang down and I don't have to worry about losing my shades. I found that just having them on there helps keep my glasses in place against my face. However, when I want the extra security, I just slide the bead up and it's like my glasses become one with my face. I've tried shaking them off, but they don't budge. I put them on my big dawg Gus, who for some reason seems to enjoy wearing glasses (he has his own pair of doggie-goggles), and they stayed on easily. My only regret with this testing method was that one of our other pups couldn't keep her nose off of them when checking them out, so my glasses got pretty slobbery. I rinsed off the Chums and they were good as new. You do have to get used to putting on and taking off your glasses from above rather than sliding them on, but you get used to that very quickly. The color options are nice also. My sunglasses have a dark green frame and the Olive color matches them well. All in all, this is a very good purchase if your needs are similar to mine. I also purchased at the same time, a set of the neoprene retainers, and they are nice as well, but not adjustable, so I purchased 2 more sets of these (I have 3 sets of the same sunglasses in different vehicles).

Not good for Costas

The holders would be great if I could get them over the tips of my sunglasses. They just aren't made to stretch over plastic tipped sunglasses. Too tight. I have Costas and I worked and worked to get them on with no luck. Barely inserted into the holes. I remember now why I started using the Costa brand holders.

Not worth it.

I bought them for work. I have to wear safety glasses every day. The glasses poked right through the fabric within a couple of days.
