I was lucky and got perfect balance on these without having to adjust anything. They are comfortable to use and cut well. I'm sure they will be great as long as I am careful they don't get kicked off the table. That's usually what does my shears in. I usually get a year out of shears...hoping these last.

Great shears for groomers

I love these shears. I’m a professional groomer and this is my second set. I bought the first 3 years ago off of another groomer and I have tried other shears (roseline or master grooming) and they don’t compare. These cut well, they hold up to daily wear and tear, and hold an edge for a while. Obviously, they need to be sharpened occasionally, but they take a while to dull. I will warn other groomers who may have never used these: they are heavier than other shears. But I’m so used to the weight that I don’t even notice.

Great set of shears, curve is a little different...

I have fallen in love with these scissors for my daily grooming. The curve on this pair of Gator's is not a gradual curve, its more like a bent shear. It goes straight, curves about 15 degrees and goes straight again. What that allows me to do best is get alongside an area of the dog's fur that I might not be able to align with straight and still make a straight line. Other curved shears would cut a dig due to the gradual curve. My straight shears didn't allow me to get up against certain areas of the dog and these shears allow for angling for the best possible scissoring. Happy!
