All purpose landmine attachment at a great price

I only have two complaints and both are minor but I feel I should mention. 1) No instructions, not even a picture of the finished product. So I of course assembled the handles in the opposite direction. When finished I went back online to see the photo since it looked wrong to me and sure enough it is. 2) Why not just ship it as one piece? It's the same weight assembled or not and then it would be even stronger then having 4 bolts hold the ends to the middle of it since it could all be welded together. All in all it's a nice gym tool to add to my collection. What would be even better is if someone made one like this for 1" bars instead of only 2" bars. Since some products are designed for both why not include a sleeve for 1" bars as well as the 2" bars all in one product? I have 1" in bars to keep the cost down in my "bad weather gym" as I like to call it and 2" in bars in my garage gym.

Nice gym/landmine addition

I'm a huge landmine proponent and have been doing standing chest/shoulder presses using just the bar end for a couple years. My palms started to bother me tho and I needed a change anyway so I decided to give this guy a try. The price seemed right and it'd give me some additional hand positions to press and experiment with for other lifts. I used it today for the first time. It's pretty well built and was easy to assemble. I used it solely for neutral grip presses, using the interior, shoulder width handles for that. I enjoyed it. It felt different enough from using just the bar that it's definitely hitting my shoulder, chest and back muscles in a different way. The handles are pretty thick, maybe a tad too thick for me (I have size large hands but like to be able to really wrap my hands/fingers around barbells, etc.) but I'm going to put in the effort to get used to them since I love the movement so much. One issue of which to be aware: if you want to use the neutral grips you'll need a way to raise the bar off the ground high enough to be able to get under them and grab them for pressing. I raised it high enough so I could squat, then stand/press the bar up (which is a great whole body movement by itself). Anyway, for the price, this seems like a winner as long as you're not planning on loading a ton of weight on it. I'm not likely to go above 180lbs with pressing movements so it's all good for me. Recommended.

Great Addition for Shoulders

Pretty solid attachment to a landmine set up. I mainly use it for your typical shoulder/viking press. The angle at which is pushed (more diagonal then vertical like a typical shoulder press) feels much better on my joints/tendons. Highly recommend adding for a home gym!

Decent for the money.

The caps keep falling off, were even smashed a bit when I got it, box was fine. No knurling, pretty smooth, could be a problem if you get super sweaty. All in all you get what you pay for I guess.

Viking press

Not bad for making your landmine into a leverage shoulder press. The get up gets hard at heavier weights but it's still a good addition to any serious home gym.. Or studio gym but most of them don't have anything like this.. My home gym is better furnished with handles like this and ergo ones than any gym I've ever seen. Vacceine passport. No thanks. Build your gym. Avoid the riff Raff at the gym. Be happy.

Awesome bit of kit form any home gym or even commercial

Very well made. Fits perfectly on the end of an Olympic bar. I use mine inserted into a landmine for pressing and also rotational/core strengthening for grappling throws. You can use this for so much more than just the obvious pressing movements. Solid construction and the twist lock is solid. Often these parts are flimsy, not on this one.
