Wonderful toy; stains easily

This is a fantastic toy that promotes imaginative play and, to top it off, it is incredibly easy to assemble. What I appreciate most about this product is that it seamlessly fits in with my home's decor, making it a great addition to our living room. However, I did notice that the toy is prone to staining if my children use markers or crayons on it. While this is not a major issue, I would suggest being cautious when allowing young ones to use these materials around the toy. Overall, I highly recommend the Hape Pop-Up Shop as a fun and educational toy for children of all ages.

A few quality control issues.

We really love Hape products but this one did not live up to what we feel is their high standards and quality. Some of the screw holes were not centered, causing the surface to ripple when the screw went in. There were some poor paint touch ups to one of the white shelves. They only give you exactly how many screws you will need which was a problem for us because one of the screws actually had a manufacturing issue that made it impossible to use. Overall I like the design of the product and how you can change the layout. The counter is pretty short. We have a petite 3 1/2 year old and the counter was low for her. The counter height is about 17 1/2” compared to Melissa and Doug Harvest Market that is 21”.

Great toy for kids of all ages

I bought this for a six year old and it’s a bit small but he loved it anyways. He played with it for hours but it was also entertaining for his little one year old brother as well! The register is a legit calculator and the scanner beeps quietly which is really nice and also lights up. I would definitely recommend this as an addition to a play kitchen or even as a stand alone toy. It doesn’t come with any food or appliances so don’t forget to grab a 100 pack of food & some small bins if you’re an organizer like myself and want to keep things separated nicely. The kids will tear it apart but it helps a little for the OCD mama.

Perfect gift for toddlers

Bought this for my niece's fourth birthday. She loves to play shop. She plays with this several hours a day. We love that is it pretty easy to move. Its sturdy and well made. Very easy to put together.

too small! Looking at the pictures would make you think there are lots of little matching toys, but there is nothing but a very small shelf

Great toy but not very sturdy...

The play shop is great if your children are not wild... my youngest broke the connecting mechanism within a week... The connecting mechanism is made of plastic and glued onto the wood dial... If you have calm and reserved kids, this is perfect.

Esta muy bien, es muy completa, me enviaron dos piezas iguales en un primer pedido, pero me mandaron otro sin ningún problema. Genial, mis hijos juegan sin parar con esta tienda.

Schlechte Qualität.

Das Produkt hat nichts mit der Hape Qualität zu tun die ich gewohnt bin. Etliche Bretter hatten beim Auspacken bereits Beschädigungen. Der Drehteller dreht sich nicht. Ist auch kein Mechanismus für vorgesehen. Wenn man ihn dreht löst sich die Schraubverbindung oder man zieht die eingeklebte Gewindestange aus dem Teller. Fazit: Ist das Geld nicht Wert und rate vom Kauf ab. Ich habe es dennoch behalten, da ich meiner Tochter nicht das Herz brechen wollte wenn ich es zurückschicke.
