Just right!

This was the perfect headstall for our horse. We use to have one with a brow band & chin strap and he hated it! The leather on this one is soft too so it’s easy to adjust buckles if needed. Highly recommend especially for horses who do like heads/ears messed with.

Great supple headstall

I absolutely love this headstall. It’s comes heavily oiled so it is soft and supple and the fact that it’s a quick change makes it so convenient when you need to swap bits. No tying the little leather strings anymore. A quick buckle and your done!

Great Quality Leather

Nice soft leather, well made one ear headstall. Stays in place at all gaits, hangs my little s hackamore perfectly.

Good headstall

Like this headstall for quick change when working multiple horses or doing arena work. Though I don't like to use it when out working cattle, too easily pulled off if it gets caught on trees/brush.

Favorite Headstall

I bought this headstall 2 years ago and am still in love with it. It fits any horse I’ve ridden from a little 14 something quarter horse all the way up to a percheron/clydesdale cross and anything in between. Love it so much just bought a second one. Would definitely recommend it.

Split Ear Only

Good quality material, nice buckles, good tie string. Unfortunately, the split ear part wasn’t long enough. Actually it was long enough, it was just long on the poll and not down the side of the face. It did not fit my personal horse (and he didn’t like the pressure it squeezed on that ear anyways). No fault of their own, it just didn’t work for my horse.

Weaver Browband Headstall

I love the quality of this headstall — it’s quite nice for the price. I definitely find myself using this one as much if not more than my more expensive headstalls because it’s durable, easy to switch up bits and reins, and overall a really nice looking set up.

use on larger horses

Great headstall but I recommend only using it on a larger horse. Tightened to the last hole the "one ear" turns into a very tight 2 ear.

It's boxy but it's good

You can't beat Weaver quality. This headstall is quite large, (too big for my OTTB) and the leather is very thick, making it very stiff but will ultimately be very durable. The leather is very plain making it easy to cut away the excess leather without compromising the style. The loops to attach to the bit will take some time to soften and stretch out, making it look clunky when first new. The buckle attachment is appreciated to easily swap out bits instead of fussing with Chicago screws. Nice, no nonsense item.

Came as advertised

The leather is good on it and it’s not too bad looking. I would recommend this for just riding around.
