Good for Pencil sketching

The value of this sketch pad is good. It’s great for pencil sketching and the size makes it easy to travel with and plenty of paper in it.

Great sketch pad with perforated sheets

Great sketch pad. Great size. The perforated pages make them easy to tear out which is great except that I feel like my daughter may loose some of the pages for her art class after carrying it around in her backpack.

it is good quality for it, but I do not like the fact that it’s not in a protective packaging itself only comes in a box with no plastic over it to protect it but other than that it is a good sketch book.

Good student-quality sketch pad

The dimension shown at the top are incorrect, this was a 100-sheet 9 x 12" pad. I've been a fan of Strathmore papers for over 40 years now. This is a good quality student-grade sketch pad. The low cost makes it ideal for frequent sketch studies that are not intended as "finished" art. The quality is consistent. it is a medium toothed paper that accepts graphite well. I do not use other media on it so cannot comment on its suitability for markers, pen and ink, etc. When I have filled this sketchbook, I will be ordering again.

Do not recommend spirals

This came apart wayyy to quick. I love that I can rip pages out without damaging the rest, but the back and front cardboard pages came off the spiral within the first couple of weeks. Also smudges very easily.

Came damaged twice

I bought this for an art class and after a reasonable time of waiting, the corner of the box was deeply damaged, so much that it had hit the corner of the books spine as well, making it get shriveled and wrinkled. It had this problem on another corner but a bit less intense. I decide to give it a second chance and order another one, which also came damaged. It was a bit less damaged, but still notable. It came with the cover of the book detached from the spine both times which I found quite irritable and the pages tore off a bit too easily for them to stay in one place, so I ended up putting them in a large folder. The only reason I gave it three stars not two was because the quality of the paper themselves, which was decently good. I don't recommend.

Sketch pad, too smooth

Great sketch book but no spiral bind on the side

Great drawing/art book, lots of paper with big size 14x17 inch pages as well. I draw better when I have more space or room to work with on the pages. Plus good price too. The one downside is that this doesn’t have a metal spiral bind on the side of the book. So the papers will naturally come out of the book when u turn from page to page.

Paper is great, packaging so poor goods damaged.

Others seem to have commented on this but these pads are great for what i want. Bigger than A4, but will fit in a rucksack. But the delivery packaging is simply a thin brown bag. No bubble wrap or anything. The corner of one entire bag is ruffled/creased therefore and at the other end the springs are bent over. Others have commented on this. I would buy from somewhere else but hard to find.

Good for sketching

This book is massive I should have measured before I placed the order as I didnt need one that big.. my fault tho! I like the paper it’s not to thin and is smooth
