Cheaper than a rebuild. Same as OEM.
I purchased this as a replacement carb for my Craftsman snow blower. It is identical in all visible ways to the one that was installed. Due to laziness, I had a gummed up carb (drain your gas at the end of the season!!!) on my snow blower. I looked around for rebuild kits, and found that most people said a new carb was cheaper than a rebuild kit (which are somewhat hard to come by for this carb), and that about 40% of the problems with the carb end up requiring replacement due to some of the internal orifices that get gummed up by leaving gas in the unit over the summer. Not only was this cheaper, but it appears to be identical and operates perfectly. I have no complaints. This carb fits many of the snow blowers on the market including a good number of Craftsman, MTD, Yard Machine, Toro, and maybe some other various machines. I would (and probably will) buy it again.

Just Like New
I ordered this to replace the stock unit on my 208cc Craftsman snow thrower to correct difficult starting and idling issues. At this price, you might as well buy a new one rather than fiddle with the old one. Once I got the old one off (hardest part was getting the choke dial and throttle end cap off),this one slid right into place. It was visually identical to the stock unit, down to the logo on the main casting. Once I had everything back together, she started on the first pull.

Runs better than new!
Did the trick on my MTD 300 series snowblower. I after watching this instructional video I got to work and it went smoothly: [...] Seriously runs better than the day I got it now. My only tip it to put the snow blower up on a workbench; it takes a little while to install and a comfortable working position makes all the difference for my old back.

Better than building the old one.
For the price and speedy delivery it way the right choice than trying to clean out the old carburetor that sat with gas in it for 3+ years. First pull after installation and I am blowing snow. Snow blower starts so well I'm not even using the electric start. Very happy with the results and not messy with the old carb.

Have not had a chance to try this out--keeping it on hand as an extra, was finally able to get snow blower to actually run somewhat. Looks like it should work--nice item for the price.

Was just as cheap as buying a rebuild kit. Why rebuild it when you can replace it for the same price...and not have to go thru the process of cleaning it.
