Good enough
Good enough for a beginner lacrosse player to practice throwing the ball and scooping. My daughter is just learning and is 9 years old. If you go in with the expectation that this item is meant for a beginner then you'll be fine. If your child is advanced you're looking at the wrong item.

Overall, the product is ok...but it needed some work. Assembly is pretty easy...the net is tight and having 2 people makes it easier. Stability sucks! There are a bunch of metal lawn stakes that are useless. The pitchback itself will fall over every time unless you customize it like I did in the pic. Those are about 15 pound sandbags keeping it in place. The standard height is also way too low, so propping it up in front gives a way better return throw. Who is using it? My 7 year old boy who is around 4 ft and a 9 year old girl who is slightly taller. Overall, if you don't mind making some changes, it's pretty good....especially for the price difference.

It isn’t great and it isn’t bad by any means. You can tell why the price is what it is. Decent for smaller kids.

Works with some adjustments
Used by our 6 & 9 yr Olds. Easy to build. Mat springy enough. Ran into issues with frame clips, everytime they threw the baseball is would come disconnected. After several attempts of repair, we were able to stabilize the bolts so they would stop popping out. Could be built better

A few things could be better
The assembly is simple enough and the product does work well however the stakes could be better they don't stay in the ground very long after a few hits with the ball they need re adjusted another thing that could be fixed is the polls off the back side pop apart so we taped it together but once we fixed the few issues it works well

Great for little t-baller's throwing/fielding/catching practice!
Bought one of these pitch returns for my 6 year old son to use for catching/fielding/throwing practice this summer as he just started t-ball. Easy enough to assemble, lightweight, and overall bigger than I imagined it was going to be (which is a good thing, as more net area to throw at for little guys). Pro's: + Lightweight, easy to move around the garden but seems reasonably strong + Easy to put together and set up + Works well - the net has plenty enough tension for some good catching practice whether it's being used by an adult or child (stakes probably won't stay in for teen/adult strength use though) + Certainly helped our little t-baller with his fielding, catching and throwing accuracy and inspired him to practice more than he would have done without it - was worth the money for this alone! + Good fun whether 1 or 2 people - we stood about 6-8 feet apart and caught each others throws - good fun and adds an element of unpredictability! + Decent value for the price Cons: - Small one, but wish it stayed together and folded up to store through the winter. Right now it's still in the garden as I've been too lazy to disassemble it. You have to take the frame apart, but the rear legs are fixed in place not hinged so will take up more space than it should in the garage. And there's also the chance of losing net hooks or parts when something is taken apart... - Stakes are just normal thin 'tent' pegs, so they come out pretty easily, and bend easily. I used 4, 2 pointing to the front, 2 to the back - they stayed put fine when my son was playing catch, but loosened/came out pretty fast with adult throws. They could do with being a bit beefier. Overall I'd recommend it for junior's to use, it's been good fun through the summer and will get some use for a few more years yet by the looks of it. While we didn't use it for pitching return, it's been great help in improving fielding, throwing and catching and resulted in our son practicing a lot more simply because he's able to go and do it himself whenever he wants. Hope that helps :)

Stakes bend easily and don't stay put
Works well, but the stakes bent easily when we tried to get them into our ground and didn't stay in well. It is difficult to get the poles pulled apart again so if you are planning to break down the poles to store it easier, may not be ideal. As far as throwing a ball at it and it boucing back....that worked great. The assembly was fine but the red piece of ribbon you put in the center is not too professional looking and not great instructions on getting it on.

Very weak design
I was very excited about this but unfortunately the quality is not good. It is flimsy and the bars are curved which makes it unstable. I would not recommend this.
