Get the job done.

These aren’t fancy but they get the job done. Have had the set for awhile and the kids still being them out to play with their friends. The cones are small but do the job to mark the end zones. Good back yard set.

A good deal

I bought these and some more expensive flags so I could set up pickup games for my high school age son and his teammates during the off season.He still has his senior year to go and I thought flag football would be a good way to keep him in shape and also learn a couple things. Initially I bought these as backups to the more expensive "triple threat" flags I bought in case some of them didn't survive a game.We've been using these every Sunday now for four straight weeks and had no problems.Personally I prefer to wear these as opposed to the triple threats when I play because they're much harder to pull than the triple threat flags, you have to get the flag with these and there's only two of them as opposed to three flags on the triple threats, the whole belt comes off with the triple threats so they can reach for those anywhere and get a person down.With these you have to pull the flag, it gives this old man a tiny bit of help. So far after four games lasting about three hours each there have been no problems, they're holding up just fine.The cones are very small so we only wind up using one as a ball marker.It stays on the field and offense takes responsibility for moving it to wherever the ball spot is.I bought some 9 inch cones for the fields that work fine and can be seen easily. I'd say these flags are just fine and would recommend them, if used properly and stored properly they should last just fine.After four games totaling about 12 hours of play with high school varsity players and a few adults I haven't had one break.Can't beat the price.One of the triple threat flags has broke and they were way more expensive.It wasn't the flags fault though, one of the kids tied it around his waist so it couldn't come off so when someone else pulled it the kung fu grip that comes when competing ripped the flag.It didn't stand a chance. These are a good deal, I'm happy with them and would get more if I need them.

Boys played a few successful games so far with bo problems!

These flag football belts are a great get and inexpensive. I bought 2 packs for my sons 10th birthday party and they had a ball. They have also used them several times since then. I was pleasantly surprised that no belts have ripped or velcro stopped working. Not to mention these boys are the opposite of fragile!! Great way to get kids outside and playing instead of electronics!! They were also extremely easy to put on. I recommend investing in these for some family/friend fun!

A pretty good flag football set

I purchased this for my little brother, and he loves it. Not the greatest flag football set but a decent one at that.

One belt defective, 36" waist and below, long term durability unknown.

One of the yellow belts had one of the velcro pieces come right off. The stitching was not done correctly and it fell off. I called CustServ (877-225-7275) and they had me send a pic of the defective belt, copy of the receipt and either either request replacement or a refund. I have done this and hopefully they oblige. You will need to take the time to lay out the flags and run an iron over them (WITH A WET TOWEL IN BETWEEN the IRON AND FLAGS) to flatten the flags. I did this and they flags laid flat. I am a 34/36" waist and the belt size fit me however, there wasn't a lot of room left. Anyone 38" waist and larger will struggle getting the belts to fit. I haven't used the flags yet with the kids so I am interested in seeing how durable the flags are, specifically the velcro on the belt and the flags. That is where the most wear and test of durability will be tested.

Practical Investment

First, shipping was rediculously fast, thank you Amazon! Ordered Friday came Monday afternoon. Used it for our church's young adults and teen sportsfest and it withstood the test. I was a little concerned about the "one size fits most" ordeal but no one complaint nor did I see anyone have issues with the sizing. Here's the summary: ADVANTAGES - by far the cheapest in cost - fairly good quality - simple - valcro works effectively when pulled - comes with instructions at the back of cover DISADVANTAGES - cones are too small - flags need to be straighten out in advance due to compact packaging Overall, a very good practical investment (easy on the pocket) if the intent is to use it a couple of times a year.
