Fits but 1/2” shorter than original and made things tough

Like every manufacturer out there these days, they make more money but reducing the size of the product. This was about 1/2” shorter than the original hose, and while that doesn’t seem like much it was enough to make things more difficult. It leaked until I removed and remounted it 3 times to find the sweet spot.

Exact Replacement

Used this on a 98 Volvo Penta 4.3 and it fit flawlessly. I've used Sierra replacements that in some cases are made of completely different materials from the originals, but this piece appears to be identical to the OEM part. The thickness of the rubber is good and all of the original ridges and alignment castings for the clamps are present. This part does not come with any hardware so the original clamps must be used.
