2” casters all steel

These are some very tough casters. I wanted all steel, and these are, both frame and wheels. I put them on my engine stand. I’m very happy with what I got. You will be too. 2” all steel casters.

Good for the the price

They are sand cast and somewhat machines, I smoothed outer edge and painted inner area, good for the price. Center holes are not center drilled, def not for heavy, often moved items- I am making an industrial styled desk that will rarely move.

Too lightweight for application

Product was a bit too small and lightweight for the needed application. No 2-1/2" metal wheels were available so I choose this as the next best option. Not bad but too lightweight for the design.

Perfect and sturdy

I bought these wheels for a cart that goes into a powdercoating oven (large one) and they work great. Due to the fact that the oven gets up to temperatures of 400 degrees, they cannot have any rubber or plastic on them otherwise it melts. These work great and have been using them every week since I got them.

Bought this to replace the fourth wheel.

I have an old set of four 2" steel casters and one of them was missing the ball bearings in the swivel. This item matched all the critical dimensions so I bought it to replace my single broken wheel. The only difference is cosmetic, where this wheel has holes around the webbed hub and mine had a solid webbed hub. It's not really mentioned in the description, but this wheel is painted silver where I was expecting it to be bare cast iron. Not a big deal. The bracket is zinc plated steel, no different than most stock casters.

Very good for mobile bases

Having very good luck with these casters. I have a small wood shop so most things have to be on wheels to be moved around and these casters are just right for the unfinished floor. Just use 2x4 and attached these casters you have a mobile shop. They seem to be quite maintenance free, just blow the sawdust away and a little squirt of WD-40 and they are good as new. I had tried casters with polyurethane rubber cover and even though they are smoother but they simply are deteriorating by the heat.
