Slick!

The Shea Moisture detangling spray is very slick and smooth. It detangles immediately after spraying and moisturizes as well. I am able to run my fingers right through my coily 4a hair. I have used and loved this product for years. Packing from the Amazon or seller was terrible! No tape was used to keep caps on the spray bottles of the detangling spray, therefore one cal was off, as there was also no protective product packaging. I ordered 3 and one also cane with NO cap at all. Someone dis not check the order and packaging prior to shipping.

Works great on my toddlers curly hair!

My daughter has curly hair that is constantly tangled. Combing her hair is always a battle and I felt like I was damaging her hair prior to finding this product! This product makes combing and styling her hair easy and I feel like it adds moisture and keeps her hair shiny and soft!

Great detangler for thick curls and thick hair

This works great for detangling my daughter’s thick, bigger curls in her very thick hair. A little goes a long way. It helps with frizz too. Her hair is fairly dry, and it helps. It has a very heavy coconut scent, which most but not everyone likes. We’ve been using this since was 2 and probably will continue until she’s completely grown (or maybe longer!). Price is good too, especially with occasional deals, though more than once it’s been poorly packed and leaked, and it’s not easy to get that remedied through all of Amazon’s bots (have to get through to a human being to get a replacement, and hope it doesn’t ruin other stuff, which is a bigger pain!).

It actually works

Compared to many other detanglers, this one works best. It does not make hair greasy or have an overpowering smell. It has a very subtle natural coconut smell but not like the man-made fruity smell. This cuts through tangles better than the rest, even better than the ones made for babies.

The best detangling spray

What can I say Shea moisture is the only product j trust on my children’s hair. This is by far the best detangling spray for mixed or Afro hair, my son has tight curly hair that needs a lot of daily maintenance. I’ve tried so many different detangling sprays but this beats them all. This is now my third bottle. Smells delightful, doesn’t leave a sticky feeling to the hair. it actually makes his hair feel really soft. Just spray the hair with water to begin, section the hair and spray with this detangling spray and you’ll notice how much easier the hair is to comb/brush. 10/10!

Totally disappointed!!!

I am not one to complain about my deliveries or write reviews but felt the need to comment on this particular item. I have purchased this shea moisture detangler on several occasions for my little one from amazon and this is nothing close to original. It is clearly adulterated and equivalent to water in a spray bottle. I am totally disappointed!!!

Fake fake fake

I never write reviews but had to let people know about this product.I've used this before on my daughters hair and it is amazing however this item is a fake does nothing to detangle her hair, doesn't even smell nice like the real product. I thought I was getting a bargain when I found it for cheaper but they have just diluted it till it is practically water do not buy don't waste your money .

A scam I think

Our previous leave in conditioner from Shea moisture lasted 2 years and this one lasted 1 month. It was watery and horrible. As others have commented on Amazon, it smelled like play dough. The label came off when I touched it. Something is going on with Shea moisture, either on Amazon or at the company itself. Please can somebody look into it as this is a great company and they don’t deserve this.

Not worth it!

Was not worth the price, it did not do nothing for her hair, might as well have used water. Only reason I gave it the two rating is because it smells nice!
