TRIED TO COVER OIL SPOTS

I GOT 2 BAGS OF CHIPS FOR MY 2 CAR GARAGE AND 1 BAG WAS ENOUGH BUT 2 WAS WAY BETTER. THE OIL WAS STILL NOTICEABLE BUT THE CHIPS LOOK REALLY GOOD ON THE FLOOR! I DEFINITELY WOULDNT LIKE IT AS MUCH W/O THE CHIPS

Beautiful when installed

This product makes really beautiful your garage floor once installed. It's not so easy to throw these chips and have some linearity at first, but after 5-10 times you throw the chips, you get it.

A lot of work but worth it

The prep work was difficult but turned-out great. 1978 build - garage floor was a mess. There was also a funny smell that could only have been coming from the floor (primed and painted all the walls.) I bought additional color chips. I could have bought a second bag. I think more chips is better than less. I also bought the non slip sand additive ... however, if you have a lot of chips, I don't think you need the non-slip additive. This garage is a little bigger than 20' x 10' - there was plenty of paint left over. I could have put on a thicker coat. Looks great. Smells great.

Having an additional pouch of chips was essential for getting an even spread in my garage.

Great replacement for the kit chips!

Perfect replacement for the chips that came with my kit. I decided to forgo the kits blue white chips and order the grey instead. Best decision the black and grey is so much nicer. During the install process I weighed and separated the three additional bags I purchased for my garage floor. These bags contained almost double the amount of chips by weight.

MORE IS BETTER

My epoxy coating came with a small package of color chips and I found the first time I applied the coating I wished I had more chips. I purchased the 1 lb bag above and added them to the other chips. Although the epoxy coating wasn't Rust-Oleum, the chips worked fine and the result was far superior to the first coat. The extra chips also do a better job of hiding the imperfections.

Prep. and drying time a must do.

Excellent quality solids, coverage is only what they say. Prepare floor exactly to the best possible condition before starting,. It's without a doubt necessary!! Drying the concrete perfectly is a must!!
