Easy to install and work great.

Straps are good, hardware is junk

Installed these June 2021 on my smokercraft pro angler 161. Straps work fine. As others mentioned the hardware is SOFT. Snapped a screw off and had to back it out with channel locks. Be sure to drill pilot holes and go easy when torquing in screws.

Perfect!

These are exactly what I needed to transport my fly rods to and from the lake without having to break down the rods. Now I can leave them fully rigged and ready to go! I installed these with an oversized stainless steel washers to get more hold down surface, just the screws alone will eventually pull out of the nylon straps. They should have included washers along with the stainless steel screws for installation, that's my only negative about these straps. Seems like the straps should last a while.

Safely secured rods and protects them very well.

Really like how strong the Velcro is pull first strap tight and drop the second strap in. Very secure. Not inhibited by water, no sharp edges. Easy installation. Would surely buy again. And I’m picky
