They work

I gave them 4 stars as the head is small and you have to really concentrate to find the correct angle. They cut fine once you do. The good and or bad thing depending on your perspective (good for me) is the spring rotates to allow the scissors to remain closed. Others with non rotating springs are always open. I keep these in my cars center console for the occasional hangnail.

Work exactly as described!

They work exactly as they are described. Sharp and well worth the money if you are looking for a cuticle clipper. They seem very durable, which I am impressed by. I only gave them four stars because they came with grease on them - if you get these wash before using them! After washing in soapy water they were fine, but I am confused why the grease was there.

These work well

I have been a nail technician for over 40 years so I am quite familiar with cuticle nippers. These are well made and sharp enough to trim dead cuticle. The are a good size and not too heavy to handle. I think that these nippers will last for quite a while, making them a good value.

a solid cuticle nipper

quality materials and construction. very easy to use. used this to get rid of a hangnail that's been bothering me and this worked just fine. very sharp and safe. the spring action is very smooth and solid.

Not Very Sharp

I bought these to have an extra pair in our travel trailer. I do like the plastic-coated spring; however, they tend to open spontaneously on their own, they are not sharp, and do not have a very pointed tip. The cuticle cutters did not clip my dried hangnails well and did not function well for close clipping. For a few dollars more, I can purchase a name brand (of which I already have) that are extremely sharp and pointed and do not open wide. Also, with that particular brand, they offer lifetime tool sharpening for a minimal cost. Spend a little more and get a much better tool.

Small and sharp

These are a bit small for my nails. But they are super sharp and cut great. Look to be stainless steel and fit in your hand nicely. Easy to use.

Oil covered mess

First off the nipper was almost dripping with oil, didn't notice it till it was all over my hands. So if you get this make sure to first grab some paper towels to clean this item off. I ended up getting this on one of my favorite desk mats, seems its going to be a stain I wont be able to remove. Also while I was working with the item the inter spring device just popped off, luckily I found the screw for it. I am wondering about the design of this at this point.. After I cleaned them up and screwed the spring back in, it seems to be functioning correctly. Though I feel it could end up popping off again at some point.
