Plastic and metal construction

I read the product description pretty carefully looking for information on what this product is made of. I just received mine today. The spike is metal. The entire upper body of the hose guide is plastic. I am sure it will work fine for a couple of years before the Texas sun degrades the plastic. If I am lucky, it will last longer than that. Not complaining, just clarifying for anyone interested in how the product is constructed.

These are a garden saver.

This was an order to replace some that had been run over by the yard man. They may be sturdy but they don't hold up well against a rotary lawn mower. Make it a lot easier to move lawn hose around corners.

Hose Guides

These hose guides are great when moving hoses around the house...keeps hose out of gardens and catching on sides of the house or any other things that cause binding...the only thing is the durability they seem to break easily if accidentally trip over or step on...if the fin guides where thicker it would be better...

Work as expected

The garden hose guides arrived on time and work as expected. This was my second order of them. As it turned out I didn’t need this second pair and the seller refunded my money without hesitation.

Works well

Works as expected. Would benefit from a thicker plastic spool as the plastic flange cracked on top. Still functional though.

White sticker no problem!

They seem to have resolved the white sticker issue mentioned in other reviews. The stickers peeled off these with no problem or residue.

Works great!

Works great. A lot of people commented that the sticker was hard to remove. I didn’t have any problem removing the label. You just need to pull it off slowly. I’m so happy that I don’t have to worry about my plants getting damaged by the hose anymore. Would definitely recommend it.

Great hose spike

I bought one of these a couple of years ago to stop our house going across the flower bed and causing damage, I have since bought a second one to put in a different place. A great, simple device

Brilliant gadget

This little gadget is amazing , no more crushing plants when reeling in the hose.agree with others that removal of label is s pain but soaking in hot soapy water ,metal scouter and then methylated spirit worked for me.

The spike could be a little bit longer as it pulls out of the soil with continued strain on it. Mine is in the garden soil. It will probably hold better if it is in grass, but then how do you mow around it?

Very high quality with a nice metal spike! Works well to keep my hose from busting up the pretty flowers! The spike goes in easily and pulls out in fall ready for winter.

Not worth the price...

Head came off in my hand right out of package. Not as long as I envisioned. Plastic ones from dollar store for $3.00 just as good. Not even going to try removing the sticker. Keeping, but a bit disappointed.
