garden faucet

Nice outdoor garden hose faucet. you can replace the rubber gaskets, (most of the new ones you can not.) When you open the valve in full, it lift the valve.... therefore, very high water flow. (not restricted or little hole like most of the other ones) The price is $5 less than Lowe's. Now the pressure washer will not starve from water flow when it need it.

Why the incorrect hose end size indicated?

There is no 1/2 inch garden hose end threaded fitting as described, just a standard 3/4 inch garden hose end thread. Why the bad description?

Works For Me

So far, so good. Doesn't leak at the stem or the spout. It does have a "soft feel" to it when closing that may cause the user to over-tighten. The trick is to turn the handle just enough to stop the water flow, so that the washer will not get mashed.

Turn it on, turn it off

It's a garden hose bib and there's not much to say. It's sturdy and heavy, and in some circles, attractive (plumbers and gardeners are those circles). Make sure to use some plumbers tape on the threads before you install it. Then, without RTFM, all you need to know is it's right-tighty, lefty-loosey. That's the whole story and I'm sticking to it.
