Okay for beginners but not heavy weight

I use this bar pad for hip thrusts. It’s okay for light weight on the barbell but once you put on any 25 lb plates and above, the foam doesn’t do much to cushion. I bought a new bar pad recently that is much thicker and it cushions much better, plus it has a cute design! After using my new bar pad I realized this really doesn’t do the job for heavy weight. This may be a good tool for beginners in the gym who are not lifting too heavy yet, but I recommend investing a little more into something that will definitely cushion the weight and not leave you in pain and with bruises.

Extreme padding

There is more padding than I prefer, but that's a preference, not a product deficiency. As long as you want a really thick pad, this is a good product. If you prefer something slimmer, might not be right for you.

Great for price!

Love this! Takes away all the pain of the bar. My only issue is that it slides when squatting because I can’t fully close the pad because there is not enough fabric to go over the bar.

Came torn

Welp so much for getting to use this for my wife and my leg day today. This is how this product came out the package. Highly disappointed, but hope exchanging it is simple and the next product is fully intact. Update: Exchange was simple and the replacement pad came fully intact. We have used it once already and so far it works as advertised.

Large and Padded

Update 7/28/21, getting a second for new Squat rack -- This is a great pad !! Fits perfectly on a 7' Olympic weight bar. Double the size of the pad I had before. Great for bench press. The pad is comfortable on your chest, have not squatted with it yet. I wish I would have had this years ago. Great Job !!
