JR Products 00235 Vent Latch - Thin Wall

Was exactly what I needed to replace a broken one...... after I figured it out how the procedure. Be sure to know if you want a latch to go into a thin wall (like thin metal) or thick wall (like plastic, slightly thicker). Remember, this latch, as shown in the picture, must be broken off after inserting it (reduces length by approx 1/2) when actually used. It is made to break off easy by hand.

Fits just as it should

Fit the door to the power station just as it should. Keep in mind this specific version is for "thin wall" such as thin steel type doors. This isn't made for the plastic covers that usually are on the outside of an RV for the refrigerator.

Appear to be exact duplicate of Norcold at half the price

These appear to be exact duplicates of the plastic latches used in Norcold outside vents as available from Norcold and at less than half the price. Also, they are packaged two (2) per pack rather than a single latch as sold by Norcold. I purchased both a single Norcold latch, and a set (2) of these JR Product latches and could see no fundamental difference. In the future, if I should need others, I will only buy these JR latches. Gary

Didn’t fit

Product was good and no damage. If looking for replacement part for cougar keystone this one does not fit. Return was easy and no issues
