Not the same motor as what's in the picture. (However!)

These are fantastic Motors and the product works great for what it is but the advertising is incorrect and it is not the motor in the picture. Which basically means it is incorrect for the application that I desire it for. (Update, they upgraded the year box and mounting bracketry to the actuator. However it may appear different far superior than the original design.)

Direct replacement for Lippert 12508

Slid right on and works perfect. Knocked one point off as whatever fits in the unthreaded hole doesn't come with it. Your supposed to use your own old one. But my old one fell off on the highway somewhere north of Laughlin Nevada, so I have no idea what it was or looks like. No instructions came with, so I've been told that there are 3 Allen Wrench holes that have something in them to hold it on. This one is $200 cheaper than Lippert and Lippert doesn't include the bolt it whatever goes in the unthreaded hole either.

Standard lippert slide replacement

As luck would have it, I go to leave on a trip and the slide doesn't move. There is a nylon gear that broke and after talking to the company they don't sell just the gear and want 7 c-notes for the assembly. All my local RV stores say they can order it but don't stock. This was available and will be here in 2 days, sold. One bolt and a couple wires and I'm back in business. This looks exactly the same as the Tuson motor, less the lippert emblem on the end cap. It also has the same nylon gear that brakes. I have used it for 2 months on the road with around 20 stops, cycles in and out. Since then, Amazon suggested a different one that is less expensive but I would have chosen this one as I was pressed for time. Had I known about the gear, I would have looked in advance for that. As for the gear, Amazon has a few all steel gears but not a nylon replacement. I'm not sure if that's the best choice, but at 1/10 the cost I will carry that as a spare. Lippert 1to18 ratio gear. Given a choice, I won't buy anything lippert again since the weakness is known and intentional but they don't sell a replacement.

Works as expected...only note I would make is that the bolt hole is NOT threaded. So if you are replacing one that is threaded, you will either have to get a larger bolt and thread the actuator, or thread the part it fastens to (which is what I did).

Perfect replacement

Our slide out motor burned out while on vacation, ordered this one from Amazon Prime and it arrived at Fort Wilderness Campground the next day. Had it installed and working in less than 10 minutes.
