REAL protection and a great price
I have bought maybe...30 keychain CPR "kits", some of which include a 2" x 2" "shield" and a supposed "one-way valve"--tiny, "cute", and oh so cheap. Looking them over recently, I felt a terribly sense of anxiety that "I would NOT, NOT NOT" want to use those on anyone other than a family member--and for that, hey, "no shield is A.O.K" unless special circumstances exist. [I took a Red Cross sponsored class ("pre-Coof") to learn about all kinds of "special circumstances"--and they had those GREAT DUMMIES!] SO, I ordered THESE, which measure 6 15/16" wide and 6 3/8" tall, and they have a superior HEPA one-way valve with the bite protection feature. [Still NOT recommended for a zombie apocalypse.] SO, guess how I will be REVISING/MODIFYING/IMPROVING/UPGRADING most of my little CPR kits. My MARS WELLNESS keychain nylon pouches (3" x 2.5") were large enough to accomodate both this LARGER shield/valve and also a pair of (thin) surgical gloves. Marswellness does not sell CRP kits anymore. Have no fear! Buy Primacare RS-8631 kits and ADD SOME THIN GLOVES--the Primacare pouch is large enough to accomodate the gloves and the RS-8631 includes these WONDERFUL, LARGE shields. So, if you, like me, want some real "protection" [Hah!] use a bigger shield. And thank you, Primacare.

Simple but not sealed
Each individually wrapped. Only wished it wasn't just ziploc style closed but actually sealed to indicate that it is a fresh, unused and sterile mask. Haven't gotten the opportunity to use it yet and hope I will never have to

Works
If you are around older people or people with heart issues, learn CPR and keep one of these around. Heart Assn says don't do breathing but if two rescuers, keep one of these close.

A great way to not get herpes while saving someones life!
The shields I received does not fall apart like one user states. Stays together in one piece as it should. The CPR shield will not block bullets but it will stop blow back and prevent throw up in your face from helping a non breather. I have tested the "one way valve" and it works for the most part. It doesn't look like a one way valve since all you can see form the top is the filter. The only thing about it is that it may be a little difficult to get a good seal on the victims mouth because of the blow back vents. The over all size of the vinyl sheet is 6.5" x 6.5". The bite blocker is a little over an inch that protrudes into the mouth. I would say this relatively inexpensive and good thing to always have in your first aid kit.

It's to use when performing CPR
I obviously was not paying attention when I ordered, expected a regular facemask. It is exactly what it says, a little tube to blow into the person's mouth surrounded by plastic that gives you some protection from germs. No idea how effective it is for the purpose since I never do CPR

I like this product
I like this product, not to mention the way it came. I thought they would all come in a bag together but they are all individually packed and easy to use. They are a one time use so coming in a package of 10 keeps me from having to purchase more often and makes sure I have some available when needed. You can not find this quality in the local store. This is a plus to get it right at your door!

Not what I needed
I ordered these because they had the fastest shipping option and I needed some ASAP for a class. They are nice but they didn't fit my use. The built in mouth peice wouldn't fit in the mouths on my CPR manikans. They would be great in a first aid kit.
