Great sanding pads

Assembly required- find a template first

These sheets work great for wall sanding, but are slightly different than the Porter Cable pads with the centers cut out (shown in the picture). No template or instructions were included. I now realize that the hook-n-loop pads are different because you don't have to have a center hole thru which to tighten the hold-down. You tighten the pad onto the machine and then just exchange the sanding paper over the hole. This up is the best way to go for wall sanding.

Correct product, but different than photo

I received the Porter Cable 79150-5 150 grit sanding discs, but they are not full black circles like what is shown in the current photo. They are yellow "rings" with a larger hole in the center. They look like the photo currently listed for the 79220-5 220 grid discs. The 180 and 220 grit discs that I ordered are the fuller red discs with the smaller hole, similar to the photo. Not sure why the difference in design, unless perhaps that the 150 grit has more friction, so they reduced the surface area??

Great discs

These are very good quality sanding discs. I own a Porter-Cable 7800 sander. These discs do not have the hole cut in them and have an adhesive backing. You will need to reuse the foam backing pad. If you wish the hole (for interchanging disc before they are worn out)can be cut with a razor knife or scissors. The $9 savings over the 77225 discs is well worth it.
