Avoid

Awful product. I've used off-brand sanitizers before but this one should be avoided. I failed to read the comments before purchasing and found my water (and filters!) colored blue after a couple days of use. No where in the product description does it say it contains blue dye. My filters were so coated in dye that they clogged and it caused a flow error. A few days later and now it seems the lack of flow may have damaged my heater. Certainly isn't worth the minimal savings over the manufactures product.

Buy this local

We've used this product successfully since we bought our new hot tub several years ago. It was long lasting and really stabilized the chemistry. The item purchased on Amazon looked identical in every way, but instead of lasting for months and slowly dissolving, it fell apart and made a mess of the hot tub and stained the finish. Seems to be something completely different than we have been buying locally.

Didn't work

This item did not work for what we ordered it for. The day after we put in into our pool our pool was completely green. Don't waste your money on this because it does not work.
