Works for me
I bought two bases for my home shop. One for a Wen bandsaw and one for a old Delta grinder. I have a small work space and being able to move the equipment easily gives me more flexibility in my shop. I was a bit reluctant to purchase these bases based on some of the reviews/comments however, I was able to get my bases to sit level when the clamp wheels are released. I am not sure why other people say they can't level their bases? Maybe they are installing pieces incorrectly? I do have one caster clamp wheel that is a bit stiff and I need to push down on the frame with my foot after releasing the wheel clamp in order to get it to level off. If both of the clamp wheels on a unit are like this maybe people don't think it can be leveled? The instructions are terrible and it took me a few attempts to get them assembled correctly for the size of my equipment. On both setups I had to leave the shorter brace out in order to make the base small enough to work with both of my setups. I don't think this is explained in the instructions and I assembled the first base with all of the rails before discovering that I had to remove the shorter rails in one direction in order to get the base small enough for my setup. I also set up one base in the wrong orientation but that was my own fault for not verifying the orientation of the base before putting it together. I was worried that the rail bolts didn't come with lock washers but the bolts are grooved on the underside and will grip firmly once tightened and should remain that way. When tightening the rails you should tighten the bolt and not the nut or you will defeat the locking feature on the bolt. Also, when assembling the front wheels do not put them on until you have installed the side rails. The instructions show these wheels going on first but because of the bolt head you have to take them back off in order to install the side rails. This seems like a pretty basic issue that could be better explained in the text and photos. In the end, I think a lot of issues with leveling could be resolved if the caster wheel was placed farther to the rear of the flange that it is attached to. There appears to be room for this. This would allow the wheel to raise a bit higher and provide more clearance for extreme leveling conditions. If you are handy and have a home shop I think these bases will work fine. For a heavy duty application a more robust base might be worth the extra money. The old Delta base I have for my table saw is a better mobile base but I am not sure if these bases are available any more. I plan to buy one more Wen base for planer so that all of my floor mounted equipment will be mobile.

Both Functional and Affordable
I needed a mobile base for my new table saw, but it had to be fairly sturdy due to the weight of the saw. After a good deal of research I chose this WEN model because of it's adjustability, ease of assembly, weight load capacity, low profile, and price. The only issue I came across during assembly, was paint... The two bottom orange bracket pieces that the wheels physically bolt to, had so much paint on the sides of the brackets, that they could not FREELY swing up & down as needed. This prevents the wheels from folding up and out of the way when the cams are released to lower the machine back down. No biggie of course, I just sanded the extra paint down during assembly until the bracket hinge assembly swung freely on its attachment bolt like it's designed to. Apparently, they neglected to take paint thickness tolerances into account when designing these cam assemblies. Hence, my 3 star rating for assembly. Outstanding base for the money however! I would certainly recommend this unit to anyone without hesitation.

Patience with assembly yields useful result
The assembly was tedious at best. The destructions were hard to follow especially when they were incomplete. Most DIY handy types will have no problem finishing. However! The final result is a great power tool base. The structure is solid. Quality materials throughout. Wheels adequate to their function and then some.

Almost perfect...
Purchased this for my WEN bandsaw...feels well made. Went together easy enough, but I agree with others that the non-swivel wheels should be attached last if you want the rails inserted completely into the corner pieces. If the foot levers don't work easily, loosen the attaching bolt...the Nyloc nut will still hold firmly. This works perfectly with the bandsaw. My only con is that one of the tabs for the leveling foot was drilled and tapped at an angle...I'll deal with it as I didn't want the headache of returning it for another...otherwise it would've recieved 5 stars...

Great mobile base
Bought one of these to put my table saw and stand on to make them easier to move around my woodworking shop. Instructions were written clearly but the pictures were a little blurry and hard to see. No issues assembling and very easy to adjust to fit any table or stand. Very sturdy (says it holds 500 pounds) and easy to maneuver. Locks into place easily with no movement once locked. I liked it so much I ordered a second one to put my work table on for my drill press and belt sander. Might even order a third for my sliding miter saw since base will adjust wide enough to fit it. Definitely recommend this product.

works well
Works great, appears to be top notch quality......only small issue, assembly instructions had rather blurry pictures and rather vague instructions.....still overall, would purchase again......

The feet won’t touch the floor to hold it in place. Used for tablesaw.
