Just what is needed to align a transducer well

The plate gives proper alignment for a transducer to function expectionally.

Does Not Fit

The mounting plate is made with square corners and the Kayak has radius. Therefore, the plate does not fit in the space intended. I had to cut the corners of the p[late to get it to fit. This is a fundamental design error that any junior engineer would have been able to see.
