Kit needed a lot of items that weren’t provided
Almost every activity needed at least 5 extra items that weren’t included. We ended up making the best of it but not worth the money to me. My 4 1/2 year old was not impressed.

Lots of fun activites
This is a fun kit with a nice variety of experiments. I do with it didn't requite items that weren't included, and some of the experiments felt like they could have been expanded a bit, but it was fun to have some quick easy science fun available for a rainy day.

Really fun activity for kiddos
I got this set for my kids and the neighborhood kiddos that frequent our house to play around with outside during the summer as something fun but also educational to do. They absolutely loved it! There are so many different projects/experiments for them to do. Some might require a little more assistance from an adult but this kept them busy for hours. The kids also loved the fun facts that are in the book as well.

Definitely for use with an adult
I got this set to use with my grand (5 yo) who has speech apraxia, hoping to get him to be more oral in his responses. I didn't have much luck, he wasn't at all interested in the experiments. There are instructions for each activity, and most have at least some of the ingredients needed. Others are done using household items, but I would check the ingredients before starting any of them. This is definitely for older than 4 years olds unless they are exceptional, except for a few activities. The reading is definitely for older kids. The packaging was ok. The exterior box is a sturdy cardboard. On the inside 2 light cardboard trays which contained sand, gravel, yarn, etc. (See the list on the product explanation). I found it odd that one of the trays was wrapped in light cellophane and the other was not. Not sure if this was a returned item or if it is just packed that way. All in all some fun things for kids to do, but nothing earth shattering.

Fuyn and educational
This kit is good for little kids. We really like science kits. I would much prefer them doing something than watching something. Science is such an important subject, and I really like that they can learn about it. It is nice because they can spend the time doing it. They are excited when they make something themselves. They love to make new discoveries. This is a great activity for a rainy day or a day when your child is sick or when you are just stuck at home. It is a good way to keep a child busy. I thought it was age appropriate. It wasn’t too hard. The children really liked how it turned out. I feel like this is good for child development. It kept my children's interest. It would also make a nice gift. I would recommend it.

Fun activity for an afternoon
I got this to do with my four year old niece when she visited. I was surprised to find that my 6 and 7 year olds were happy to explore it as well. This came with clear directions and a website so that if you lose them or accidentally spill on them, you can download them again (ask me how I know). All the things you need for the experiments are included in the kit and are of average or better quality. Some can be done multiple times and led to exploration on our own. My older kids were well aware of the experiments but she was not. A fun and educational project!
