Solidly built, will last a long time but shallower than anticipated
I bought this as a "treat holder" for my pup for when I'm away. I like to fill these toys with fruit and vegetables, seal them with cooked sweet potato and freeze them to provide the dog with a long lasting challenge. This does not fit the bill, but I kept it as I'll use it for when I'm away for just an hour or so. Otherwise, it's well made and sturdy, just wish the hollowed out area was deeper.

Banana cone is lesser than Blue Penguin
I have a Red Heeler. You know, the not blue dogs in the kids show Bluey. He is a super chewer. I use these dog toys as slow feeders by putting wet food into them and freezing. This design takes him considerably less time to consume than the blue penguin version with same food frozen in it. Maybe it’s that the penguin is flatter and not as deep, making him have to truly work for his meal. Maybe it’s the vanilla scent that makes him extra hungry. I’ll never know. What I do know is I have 3 blue penguins and only 1 yellow banana thing. I have not timed the difference between the two treat toys, but I’ve been able to get through a 30 min video call without him demanding I give him a treat bc I’m working and he needs his - I’m working - you’re a good boy - great to go be quiet for 5 minutes. Yes he’s about 5 lbs over weight. Yes we’ve been working on it… I wouldn’t use this for a heavy teething chewer dog. I’m surprised he hasn’t chewed through it yet. It does have small bite marks around where the food hole is and is durable- but a heavy cheer like him could turn it into rubber mulch in an hour easy. For heavy chewers you’d be better off with the black kongs. This works. Doesn’t give me enough time if I need to keep him occupied on a call longer than 20-25 minutes. It’s lasted a year and will likely last longer until a piece falls off due to wear and tear. We It was worth trying. I use it weekly for feeding. Get the blue penguin from PetSafe instead if you freeze wet food. It makes a huge difference!

Good for hard chewers
Large size for large dog and hard chewer. I do wish the treat pocket were larger, but it works well. We have the penguin and the ice cream cone versions. We freeze water in them or just spread spray cheese or peanut butter in them.

Very durable!
Our dog loves this toy! She is a destroyer of all things, but this has survived. I fill the cavity with peanut butter topped off with a few treats and freeze it. I run it through the dishwasher without any issues.

Our dog loves it. It’s our most used treat toy!
We make homemade dog ice cream and fill and freeze it and it takes our dog about 30 minutes to get it all out! Can also be used to put treats and kibble in. We really like the sturdiness and durability. As others have stated, it doesn’t hold a lot, but since it a treat, not a meal, it works for us. I was able to use tweezers to pull out the thin plastic hang tag that others have complained about. The way it’s packaged could be changed, but other than that, I highly recommend!

My Cavachon Cody (3 yrs old) LOVES his ice cream cone! I fill it with quality wet dog food and then freeze. When I need to go out for a while I ask him if he wants his "cone". He runs to the frig and sits patiently. It's basically indestructible too - very strong rubber and cleans easily. Only wish the inside cavity was a little larger.

Durable, dog's favorite toy
We purchased the yellow after having the penguin for 3 months and with daily chewing the penguin is just now showing wear. These are my dog's favorite chews, even without treats inside. My only complaint is the tag is attached by plastic ties that stick out once you cut it off. So you must use pliers, or I use a nail file to file the plastic pieces down. I find the yellow one to be easier for my dog to carry in his mouth than the penguin.
