Just the tool needed

Wish I had these decades ago! After suffering many cat bites doing cat rescue I finally have just the tool I should have had all along! The palms are grippy, the fingers supple for gripping and holding a wriggly animal. They cover arms up to the elbow and I think it would take strong bites to break skin through the strong fabric - that hadn’t been tested yet!

Puppy bites are cute until they aren’t

I purchased these gloves for my wife and daughter to protect them from those little love bites our puppy Lab likes to give and they work great to keep him from piercing the skin, but they don’t protect against the pressure at all so be careful when trying to take something out of a dog’s mouth. Side note: our puppy bites more when he sees the gloves, he likes to pull them off and play with them.

Amazing, saved me many scratches

My cat is evil. He hates being brushed, or handled, or even being looked at. I used to end up with lacerations all over my hands when I tried to brush him due to his super evilness and massive claws. These are brilliant, thick but also comfy and do not restrict hand movement. I am please to report that when I used these the evil one tried to bite my hands and tried to scratch my arms, and he didn’t succeed with either! My face however has been massacred and I nearly lost an eye, so maybe if you could make a face mask version that would be good too.

Soft and flexible. Fit well.

These gloves are soft and flexible whilst also protecting from punctures from small sharp teeth! I bought them because I was fo doing it difficult to do basic care tasks for a small rescue terrier. This dog had come to me from a neglect/abuse situation, time will heal, but sometimes you actually have to pick a dog up, lift a paw, clean the coat... because the gloves are light, I can still get bruised from her bites. As an afterthought, it might have been a good idea to get her to LIKE the gloves by using food or treats first...? However, I do think they provide a good level of protection and are well made and a good fit for my smallish hands

Tamed my hamster!

I purchased these because i had a very bitey syrian who loved to draw blood, and i was scared that i wouldn't be able to tame him because i couldn't hold him. I ordered these gloves to help with that and they work like a charm! It definitely protects your hands, and the length is great because he likes to climb up a little bit too. The grips on the palm of the gloves also help make sure he doesn't slip :) perfect item!

Comfortable, good fit and tough.

These are very good gloves and the main benefit for me was the medium size. So many tough gloves only come in large, which makes you very fumble fingered! They are extremely comfortable. The only problem I have with them is that seeing them on me winds the reactive dog up, so she nips my elbow instead.

Great quality

I bought these to protect me while bonding my rabbits. They come a fair way up the arm, which gives protection for both hands and forearms, are thin enough to allow movement but strong enough to provide adequate protection. Having broken up a couple of scuffles where my fingers ended up in the way of sharp bunny teeth, I was pleased to find that the gloves weren't pierced and my fingers remained intact! Well worth the money, I am now much more confident in situations where scratches and bites are a possibility.
