Apparent inconsistency for how the pleated mask sets are manufactured

I agree with all the positives written about the 'pleated' PE face masks. However, kudos to the person who previously left a critical review of the PE 'pleated' face masks which identified an inconsistency with production of the masks. Depending on which package/set of face masks you order, the masks might be manufactured with 'metal' nose clips/wires/strips (whatever you want to call these things) that definitely hold their shape when fitted to the face. A tighter fit helps with eliminating the fogging up of eye glasses and probably increases the efficacy of the face masks. With the other 3-packs of face masks that I ordered and received the nose clips/wires/strips appeared to be manufactured with a 'plastic-type' material that did NOT hold its shape when trying to fit the mask to my face. The following are the color names of the 3-packs that I would order again: Micro Motif, Mini Prints, Dark Gingham, and Assorted Pleated (6-Pack). The following are the names of the 3-pack 'pleated' masks that I ordered and received that appeared to be manufactured with the 'plastic-like' material used for the nose clips/wires/strips that did NOT hold their shape: Blue Shirting Prints, White Print Chambray, and Geometric Prints. These color sets were immediately returned. IMO, these are great face masks. That said, IMO, PE should only manufacture the face mask sets with 'metal' nose clips/wires/strips which hold their shape when fitted to the face. I can't speak to any other color sets/styles of PE face masks since I have not purchased them. If you leave a review of the PE face masks, identify the color of the mask set(s) you ordered and received and let everyone know if the face masks were manufactured, in your opinion, with the 'metal' or 'plastic-like' nose clips/wires/strips. 5 stars for the mask sets I received with the metal nose clips/wires/strips. Soft and adjustable

These 3 pack masks (2 blue, one white) ???? came with adjustable ears ???????? and nose ???? wire! The nose wire is loose and not secured or stitched to stay in place. Feels similar to a large stretched out paperclip ???? I like rectangle masks which is why I chose these. If you have a large face these will fit. If you have a small face the adjustable ear cord lock can be used to pull tight the bottom of the mask around the chin for a tighter comfortable fit. I wash ???? them out by hand but i’m careful of the nose wire so I won’t break it. After washing just carefully stretch them out so they won’t be so wrinkled then air dry on a hanger. I purchased another 3 pack to have 3 dark colors for winter and 3 light colors for the summer. Thanks Amazon and Perry Ellis - I’m happy with my purchase. Update: After hand washing & drying tried one on I can hear myself breath lol - I’m guessing this happens with ALL cloth masks ????

These are 3 layers of soft woven cotton. Like handkerchiefs. Not stretchy like T shirts. They have nose wire and adjustable ear loops. Would be great if they are available in black or solid colors.

gapes a little around the side

cute, comfy, adjustable, and i like the flexible metal nosepiece for a tight fit. they gape a little around the side of my face, but i'm sure they'd fit everyone a little differently.

Finally a mask fits

I’m forced to wear masks for flight travel, but the issue is they NEVER fit. It has been impossible to wear masks. I have a large head for a female (and therefore large face). The biggest issue is that my large ears sit so far back on my head that the ear loops on masks always hurt so bad, and even bend my ears. These masks easily cover my face, and the ear loops are comfortable at make adjustment. They seems well-made and are cute too. Buy them if you have to, and other mask don’t fit!

Some better than others

These masks are supposed to all be black and white. One is really nice and looks black and white, but the other two look more navy. The black one is really nice. I just wish all of them were black because that was the reason I bought them.
