W General Tools oferujemy ponad 1000 produktów do wyboru. Not tight, loose actually
After some playing and watching videos plus several test pieces I got it looking nice and nearly flush. I am sure after glue up it will be fine. I like my fits to slightly hold if I turn upside down, friction fit that is. There is about 1/32 -1/64 gap in fitment. The wood will swell, but just not how I like it. I used it in my router table. The instructions are confusing, could be made much simpler. It is not difficult to use once understand the measurement settings. Set router to set the depth of the pins. In other words it sets the depth of the half blind or how proud throughs will go. The depth on the other side is always the thickness of the board. Like others said the plastic portion is it’s weak link. Does not sit flat and the slide gives some. The aluminum is also soft. Don’t over tighten the clamps it will bend. For production style drawers this unit will work fine. If you have a bunch to do it is worth it. If you want to make dove tails for show pieces I would probably look elsewhere. These just aren’t that tight, no way to make it tighter. Also stand a fair chance of being slightly out here and there. I would hate to screw up some nice curly, white oak, walnut or exotic sho

Simple and accurate
This was really easy to use especially on the router table. I'm only using it or half blind dovetails. I use another simple jig for box joints and I do through dovetails by hand. It took me a few tries to get the bit height and depth of cut (with the depth gauge) just right it was too tight at first but once I adjusted the bit height and depth gauge slightly I got the results I wanted. One thing to know is the inner sides face you as you're routing on the router table. It all aligned well the alignment with the depth gauge fingers make the parts line up top and bottom very well. This is exactly what I hoped.. a repeatable accurate simple way to make half blind dovetails without having to take a college course in jig set up the videos on-line helped a lot and the manual was good

Excellent quality, very easy to use, very precise.
Didn't review any product for years, even got many of them, which deserves it. Couldn't pass on this one, because it's such a good quality, solid, very precise, with excellent hard coat finish. Received it just couple of hours ago, adjusted the bit on my router table, watched instructions on you tube couple of times, and did test cuts. If someone whant beautiful looking, tight dovetails, this jig will let you do it in just few minutes, and the price is uncomparable.5 stars all day long and will recomend to anyone.

Close, but no cigar
As you can see from the attached pictures, the dovetails turn out accurate, but in some cases they’re too tight. You really have to hunt down the correct height of the router bit for them to fit nicely. The misalignment issue you can see in the first two pictures was my fault and was my first attempt. I’m not sure I’ll be able to use this unless the dovetails are hidden as the tear out issue is too great. When making the tails you would need to clamp wood on both sides of your piece to prevent tear out and then you risk the cut piece not being square. I even tried inserting the bit behind the piece to back cut on each tail before going in from the front and still had issues. This was an issue in both hardwood and softwood, but perhaps it’s not as bad on plywood. If you can overcome the shortcomings of this jig, then it’s a great deal as far as setup, form factor and accuracy for the price. I’ll try plywood and update my comment if it’s any better.

Not sure yet
Finally got around to trying it out. Supplied bit is not sharp. Was using pine and it struggled--bad. Chipped and broke out the wood. Will have to buy a different bit and try when i have time. If you supply a bit then it should be good enough to do the job. Guess i just ended up with the dull one.

Good design and value. One small defect on the tail side.
IF YOU FOLLOW THEIR INSTRUCTIONS, the jig does a nice job making 1/2" hidden dovetails. I think it was well designed and rather easy to use for the value. Definitely want to do a few practice cuts. I had one issue, i.e., on the tail side, the left and right sides were not exactly level, causing the router not to glide nicely. Starting on the right, about halfway thru when the router hits the left side, I would have to lift up the router slightly. This caused the tails on the left to be slightly shorter than the right (less than 1/16"). When cutting the pins, it was fine. Knowing how it was, I was able to compensate for the unevenness to get nice finished dovetails.

Needs work
Great concept for small dovetail joints. Clamps need some work. Clamping bar should be heavier gauge and set screws and knobs should be upgraded. It’s easy to bend/twist the clamping bar which will lead to improper alignment and weak hold.

Jig is fine. But is trash.
Jig is a jig. It’s aluminum so if you nick it with the router it’s taking a chunk out. The bit that comes with is basically useless. Dull and could hardly use it for a test piece.

Be careful
As with all these gadgets, careful setup and measuring is key. Makes very nice looking blind dovetails if care is taken. One other thing to note is that you should be very careful when tightening the clamps on your work piece as it will push the whole jig out of shape and throw your router out. This tool could be improved by strengthening the structure and with more reference markings on the guides.

Good product but needs improving .
If you clamp too tightly the jig distorts and makes Joints sloppy and out of line. Will be buying the trend jig soon .

Second hand tool
I bought this product to cut dovetails on drawers that I am making for my daughter, I've not used the jig yet, but it looks like somebody has already used this jig before me. I didn't think for one minute that I would be receiving a secondhand product, as soon as I opened the bag that it was delivered in I noticed that the the packaging had been opened, the jig was covered in fine sawdust and there are some Nick's in the fingers where the cutter has caught the jig, probably by the previous owner removing the router whilst in motion, there is also track Mark's around the fingers where the bearing of the cutter has been in contact. I am not a happy customer at this moment in time.
