Nity Zildjian Sizzle - 12 szt

Nazywane niegdyś gwoździami przez Armanda Zildjiana, nitujące talerze zostały zainspirowane przez perkusistów, którzy wbijali prawdziwe gwoździe w swoje autentyczne chińskie talerze, aby zapewnić im więcej wybrzmiewania. Chcesz na nowo wynaleźć dźwięk jazdy lub ulepszyć ten talerz FX, dodając trochę więcej śmieci? Zildjian Sizzle Rivets to świetny pierwszy przystanek. Słyszysz to. Zildjian Sizzle Rivets może Ci w tym pomóc.

Opakowanie 12 nitów. Idź ciężko z nitami, aby uzyskać ostrzejszy zgryz. Zestaw 3 nitów do zadymionej skwierczącej jazdy. Twórz ekspresyjne skwierczące efekty i tandetne dźwięki. Wymyśl na nowo swoją jazdę lub ulepsz swój FX.

The real deal
The right material (steel), size, and type for the perfect sizzle. Drill the holes 5/32" to get the right amount of wobble. Slightly widen the bottom ends using a punch or other drift with wide angle, and a hammer. (Withe the cymbal upside-down and the rivet head resting on a heavy piece of metal. ) Split type rivets are easy to install but to me they neither look nor sound right. Now your sizzler is indistinguishable from a factory made sizzle cymbal.

Not the good old days!
Having used Zildjian cymbals my entire career & having owned a Zildjian with factory rivets, these don’t clome close to the sound they should generate. No sizzle here! DRH.

A little pricey, they work!
I added this to a very cheap Wuhan China cymbal by punching some holes in it and it really changed the sound for the better. My band-mates were all very impressed.

They work
I bought these to take out my old 1965 Zildjian sizzle cymbal and clean, polish and put in new rivits.

Worked great
Wanted to get a different sound from one of my cymbals and these rivets were the perfect thing. Very easy to install.

Sizzle Rivets Too Small for traditional cymbal holes
These sizzle rivets are NOT GOOD. They are too narrow for traditional cymbal holes. Even MORE IMPORTANT, these are extremely difficult (if at all) to "spread" the back of so as to keep them in place. The "spreading" part on back of rivet needs to be twice as deep: core of rivet prevents anything to penetrate deep enough to spread properly. Even the slight spread, if/when accomplished, is not wide enough to hold sizzle rivet in place.

amazing vintage sound returned to the cymbal
great to put the sizzle back, a bit pricy.

Perfect for the job
I wanted to add some sizzle to an existing surplus Paiste crash cymbal, so I first tried out the effect with a thin metal chain hung outwards from its centre. I then let the cymbal balance on its stand, by spinning it round several times to see where it rested, and marked three equidistant holes about one and a half inches from the edge (ensuring a gap for the place where the cymbal is usually struck, masked the spot with tape, and drilled, then gently smoothed the edges, . With the rivets in place, I was well pleased with the result. Generally speaking, the closer to the edge, the more effective the sizzle, and the heavier the cymbal, the more sustain you're likely to get. Remember it's important that the cymbal's balance should remain undisturbed, and a cheap cymbal will not become magically improved by a few rivets. I could have installed up to three extra rivets between the existing ones, but didn't need to - some drummers prefer to place three rivets close together on the far side of the cymbal in its balanced position, but I found the spaced out position perfectly OK. Zildjian rivets are ideal, right size, right weight. I found a small pair of crimping pliers to bend out the edges of the rivets, which otherwise is tricky. They're obviously very expensive for what they actually are, but I tried several types of paper rivets, etc., with no success. It's a worthwhile investment.

Too small. Doesn’t fit standard rivet size
Took a lot of hammering to get them to flare out to size. Maybe just visit your local hardware store instead.

Nice looking bright rivets
- however I'm disappointed as they're not split on the shaft. I'm not sure if I'll be able to use them as intended.
