Fits Perfectly
The leather sheath that came with my axe rotted away many years ago. Came across this replacement one day and gave it a shot. Being an Estwing, with a new sheath and a freshly sharpened edge, my 30 year old axe is just like new! This sheath was tight the first time I put it on, but it soon broke in to a snug fitting sheath, just as you would expect from Estwing.

Perfect Fit for Estwing Rigger's Axe and Carpenter's Axe
Neither the Estwing Rigger's Axe or Carpenter's Axe comes with a sheath and here is the perfect solution. This particular model fits perfectly and the blue color match is a nice bonus too. This is a super nice quality and very reasonably priced sheath, highly recommended to anyone with the Rigger's Axe or Carpenter's Axe.

Before buying this or any other product look / read description closely, I read & looked at the description and no where does it say or imply leather. it's very tough nylon & will hold up as well as leather. My leather case didn't last but a year. would buy it again but I this it will last just as long as the axe !
