Very good quality

During the years and multiple owners, the Allen set screws on my 1979 Sabre sailboat ended up missing. These fits perfectly on my Perko door knobs and swim ladder...

Suitable for limited use, assortment is good

As noted by other reviewers, these aren't of the highest quality. This should be expected based upon the price so I'm only knocking off one star. If these were claimed to be Gr8 (they're not) or from a more reputable brand a reduction of several stars would be appropriate. Specifically, the hex in the head may be sloppy on hex keys. If used in an area where the fastener needs to be loosened and tightened repeatedly (such as a lathe tool holder) this can lead to rounding the hex. As it is, these are fine for non-critical applications where you "set it and forget it."

Great for the price

They work as intended. Lost one star do to the fact that the finish lends itself to be "slippery" (extremely polished) fitting allowing vibration to cause it to loosten up. But nothing a very small dab of BLUE loctite doesn't fix.

Useful and inexpensive

Maybe not up to NASA standards, but pretty handy to have around and perfectly adequate for most jobs. If one breaks I will probably change my mine, but so far so good.

Perfect kit for all your set screw needs. At first I just needed one set screw but after buying this kit I have needed it several times. Glad I got it.

I have to eat crow .I previously rated this purchase as 1 star for awful. Was angry that I was sent the wrong item. I wanted Allen or hex socket screws and thought I'd gotten round holed ones instead. It did not help that the box label did not say hex or Allen. I went in disgust to Lowes and then complained to the salesman that their stock didn't include any hex or Allen types. He pointed out that if you squinted or took a magnifying glass you could see the hex outline. Sure enough, it was faint but was visible on the larger ones. My original tool had a clear crisp hex shape, easily visible with ordinary eyesight. I want to apologize for my original review. I'm sorry.

Great assortment

Wasnt but one size that i could use for what i bought them for but ill find a use for rest in future seem strong and reliable great price instead of having to hunt down multiple sizes all around

Great Product, But Not What I needed in the End

I was trying to replace a door knob set screw, but this set did not contain the size I needed. The Return process was very easy, just took it to a shipping place with the label and dropped it off.

Set screws were good quality but they were not common sizes

I bought this set so I didnt have to search tons of local stores for a specific set screw as the one I have is very common. Well i'll let you know this does not include them. I had a 4 step pulley none fit it. Set screws were good quality but they were not common sizes. Didn't fit any common things I had like all shapes and sizes of pulleys and multiple boring bars, end mill holders, drill bit extensions. I dont know what this kit was but the sizes are not common or I just bought many products that are un common? 3 star for the pour product description and thread per inches.

Better than bulk

Was looking for a specific set/grub screw, but could only find them in bulk, with minimum # available. The set purchased provided me with a variety on screws, including the one needed in both fine and coarse threads, a far better deal, with the chance that I will need them for other jobs, in other sizes, besides the single one(1) 8 needed for this job.
