Great quality

Great tool to have in my plumbing box

Overall handy tool for what it does.

Value for the money but could be improved. Overall i like this tool. By far better than the c-rings and tongs you can get at a box store. I use this to remove the anti siphon valve on my house each year so my connectors are exposed to the elements during spring summer and fall. I wish there was an additional clamp so u could twist the connector side to side during removal. Better then the cheaper alternative by far!

Good for US fittings

This tool is very fast and secure for most fittings sold in the U.S.. I also service a lot of 15 mm push fittings and the tool has no blades for this size. I would like to see a pair of blades for this size, since European fittings do find their way here more commonly these days.

Better than those orange clips

This works ok. It's better than trying to use those little orange clips but can be finicky to get just right. For the price I think it's worth it.

Works great, but...

This tool is quite sturdy and works as it is designed to do. However, the "large" side of the tool will work only on certain fittings that its side will fit around. Not all fittings are the same diameter. For instance, plastic fittings are usually larger diameter than brass. That renders the tool useless for plastic fittings or others that don't match the diameter of the side. I found this SharkBite tool (SharkBite PROD3810) with automatically ADJUSTABLE sides that works well on every brass and plastic fitting I have tried. Besides, it is a little more versatile because it can be used on fittings 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", and 1" plumbing according to the description.

Wish I'd have gotten one sooner!

This tool is well made and very easy to use. The properties that I maintain have tons of push-to-connect fittings, so I've had to fight with disconnect tongs and release clips for years. This makes the job go faster and much easier with less effort to pull the connections apart than I have ever experienced before. All of my coworkers want a pair since they've tried mine. Money well spent!

Pretty good

Worked pretty good for me, a lot better then just the plastic horseshoe you can buy. It wasn’t perfect it slipped off a few times.The tool it’s self seems to be pretty well built. I would recommend more for diy then a professional.
