Extremely durable worth the money!

I went through three other garment bags before I found this one and let me tell you… this thing is durable. For some background I’m in the police academy and I’m regularly required to run with all my heavy gear and equipment inside my garment bag because we aren’t allowed to use normal bags. So this thing gets loaded down with all my heavy stuff on the daily, AND I run with it loaded up like that, which adds some extra stress/impact to it and this thing has held up amazing! I’ve had it for about 7 weeks now, and I’ve not found another garment bag that would last me this long. It’s worth the money!

No Hooks to hang the bag or hold it together when folded.

The dress bag has no hooks to hang it while you are putting clothes in it or to hang it in a closet. When folded there are no clips to keep it closed. So if you check the bag it will come open unless you put something around it. Not well thought of when it was made.

I purchased this bag to carry a bridesmaid dress to a wedding on the plane with me. I had no problems carrying it on. It protected my dress very well and easily strapped on to my other luggage. You wouldn't want to check this because there is no way it could stand up to the abuse of the airlines. It has lots of space for storage of other items (shoes, other articles of clothing that don't need to be hanging, etc.) in the additional pockets. Overall, this was a great purchase. I wish I would have bought it much sooner. It will be my go to garment bag when traveling in the future.

Worked So Well, I Married the Woman Using It.

My wife used this to take her wedding dress as a carry-on to our destination wedding. She was certain that if she put the dress into the checked suitcase, that the airline would lose that bag. We kept the dress from creasing when folded in half by stuffing a rolled-up hand towel into the crease. Southwest allowed this as a carry-on. Not sure about other airlines. It did keep the dress in good shape. Minimal steaming was needed when we got to the beach.

I finally remembered this would be something she would love for Christmas

We purchased this for our daughter in-law as a Christmas present. She has looked for a garmet bag for a few years to take along when the go on cruise ships. I finally remembered this would be something she would love for Christmas. I can't wait for her to see this Christmas. I personally use Delsey luggage for years now and has held up to numerous flights. That wa she main reason for purchasing this Delsey garmet bag.
