I wanted to like these but…

First impressions were good, used them as intended. It’s embarrassing when I have to explain to a customer less than a week later that the weld that cracked was a part of the purchased component and not my own. I fixed it pro bono, which equates to a loss on my end. I would suggest grooving out their weld and rewelding it before welding to your project. Ridiculousness…

Great for a trailer.

I recently worked on remodeling a old utility trailer and bought these to hold the back ramp. They are strong and easy to weld on. They twist and lock in place open so you don’t have to have one person on each side of the trailer to drop the gate.

very solid

Used a pair of these to replace the weak latch system that held up the ramp on a utility trailer. Very solid and sturdy. I had a local welder put them on, very pleased with them.

Good latch

I needed a replacement for my landscape trailer. It's a little larger than the one I took off but I was still able to use it. Its well built and I get a good latch with it

Very strong and smooth, great quality

Great quality very durable and strong, smooth operation, but the handle is so big you can't get it to rotate far enough around to lock and unlock so make sure nothing is in your way where you install these

Heavy duty

First off my trailer has a full tongue to the first axle. I would not add a side gate if the trailer did not have a full tongue. I wanted to make a side load gate for my 12,000 lb 20 foot trailer. It is much easier to load a 2 ton pallet from the side and push two on from the rear. Used the shot one on the front and the longer one near the axle.

Pretty heavy duty. The pin has play though. For my application I can't use it. I need the pin pretty tight. For gates this would be perfect

Strong ! And high quality

I used this as a locking latch for a camper van swivel seat . It’s high quality and very sturdy . Would be strong enough for a big gate etc ????

Heavy duty hitch pin.

I welded this onto the end of the tounge for my snowmobile sled, works perfectly! Had to modify the holes to accommodate the 5/8" bolt in this unit but the die grinder made quick work of that minor detail. No more messing with hitch pins or cotter pins, very pleased. Thank you!
