I purchased this compass September of 2015. For some reason, it started leaking fluid this year (2018). I have ALWAYS purchased Richie compasses and never had an issue So I contacted Richie and after emailing the serial number and some pictures, they are sending me a new one. Outstanding customer service on a great product! If you need a comp;ass for your boat, get his one.

I bought this for a friend in Jamaica and it has been working for him when he goes fishing in the Caribbean. It's hard to get good fishing equipment in Jamaica so he was very happy with the compass that I purchased for him. And the cost is way cheaper here in the states.
