Haven't got stung yet!

After trying a few different suits with little success I stumbled across this suit and so far so good. It is well made. I realy like the heavy duty zippers. While it is relatively cool it does get heavy as it soaks up all your sweat if you're working bees in the heat. But otherwise I am very happy with it.

Torso is a little tight

Just received suit the other day. I’m 5’11” 230 lbs and ordered the XXL. I’m glad I did as the torso is tight. I have a few inches of extra material at my legs. Pretty sure it will be fine but any tighter and it would be too close to my skin. Also no velcro in chin area to cover the veil zippers. Better make sure they are pulled tightly together!

Keeps the bees out

Had a cheaper suit and kept getting stung from time to time. Even had bees get in my head cover. OUCH! So far this suit is working perfectly. Yeah it costs more than others but I don't like getting stung. You get what you pay for.

Chainmail Bee Suit

I have grumpy feral bees and this thing is like a suit of armor against stings. Has some weight to it but breathes really well. Pay close attention to the zipper junction under the chin, it will seal up but don't get careless at that spot. I am 6'2", 250lbs and the XXL is a good fit. If you are on the fence about the $$, it is worth it. Zippers are heavy too btw. The only potential flaw might be the outer mesh being susceptible to a tear, be mindful of that.

Awesome suit! Buy it now!

The media could not be loaded. I did a cutout with this suit last night and it was AWESOME! Zero stings with an angry hive through the suit. Only sting I got was because I had a headlamp on and they got me through where the veil was touching my skin because of the light. My fault entirely. High quality zippers, great elastic in the bottom of the legs to grip your ankles and tight Velcro on your wrists. I still used duct tape to secure these to the gloves and boots I was wearing. Very worth the price and now I can wear other clothes under my suit and not die from heat. I'm 5'11 240lbs, large frame and the XXL fit well perfectly. You want it to be a little baggy.

Excellent quality, perfect bee suit!!

I had two bee suits last season, the traditional ones where the zipper broke twice, and it was so hot. So I got this in anticipation of next season. I was excited to get it and try it on! Walking through my heated house I could feel the breeze coming through! The way the hood sits, I don't think that the bees will be able to sting through this time! The zipper is metal, and covered at the gaps so I don't expect it to break or the bees to find a way in! So excited to get to my hives this year!!

Really cool and secure. Great customer service

I bought this suit because I have a couple of hot hives. I got tired of wearing two pairs of pants and a jacket underneath my bee jacket. It was uncomfortable in the midday sun. Now I am cool and and secure. It isn't cheap but in my opinion it is worth every cent. Great customer service. The second day I had it a thorn tore a small hole in the outside mesh. I emailed them and they mailed out a swatch to repair it the same day.
