This part sells for almost $6 at a plumbing supply, IF they have it! After a quick ship from Amazon, my shower control lever was working like new! I'm going to buy a back up because I'm sure I'll need it sooner or later.

very surprised to get this insert

I found this insert from a mixer buyer's review. I am very glad I get this and it fits well on the mixer to put the handle on. I hope when people buy the mixer, they can see this insert on the same page or it sells with the mixer.

Better than the original

Why aren't these made of metal? The plastic wears out quickly with a bathroom shared by 3 boys. Buy several - I have to replace mine once or twice a year.
