More Klein Tools J2000-48 Diagonal Cutters

These Klein 8” pliers are my everyday diagonals that I use all the time for cutting back cable sheathing, wires, removing RX staples, cutting tie wraps and probably a hundred other things they weren’t designed for. I find that the angled head makes them much easier to get deep into electrical boxes and give the extra leverage needed for pulling staples without tearing up tour knuckles. These are the Klein Journeyman 2000 series with the blue contoured grips and hardened cutters. They are really the only ones worth getting IMO, because they are so handy that you’ll start using them for all sorts of things like pulling device box nails, deburring a cut edge of metal Wiremold or cutting finish nails when removing baseboard trim, etc. so they will just get too much daily abuse that will wear out the cutters on the standard dikes in no time.

Works like you would expect any Klein tool to work. Super sharp and durable. I love the angle at the end. The end is thin enough to manipulate wire better than other brands

Great quality and value

Great to see a USA made brand still putting out great quality products. Almost cancelled the order but when I held them I was glad I didn’t. They’ve been my main set of cutters for the last month or so and I’m an auto mechanic. They do great and feel great. Worth every penny.

Use em every day

I love these. Hard to say whether the journeyman series are worth buying over the standard diagonals. The handles are ergonomic though, and that really goes a long way. I'm pretty hard on them, I've been cutting steel and hardened steel because that's what they claimed to be able to do. They haven't dulled on me yet though and I've been using them for nearly four years. Also these have literally doubled in price on Amazon since I bought them.

High Leverage.

Had my last pair of these for about a decade and they would have lasted me another had I not cut in to a live line and ruined the cutter. The blade was still sharp after all that time and I wouldn't compromise and get anything but the J2000 side cutters. Handles are comfortable.

Best Diagonal Cutters on the market!

I recently switched from the regular Klein Diagonal Cutters to the journeyman series cutters! The biggest difference in these pliers are the handles. The handles are thicker than the base series Klein pliers and it makes these much more comfortable and easy to use! These cutters can cut just about anything and will last you a lifetime!

Defective

Defective side cutters, they dont cut with that nice Klein snap. The fold over small wires that I try to cut. Very disappointing for a Klein product. I had to go back to my old Klein side cutters that I was trying to replace.
