Nice faucet looks but Handle Turn Direction, Installation Instructions and Support
Kingston Brass Wideset Faucet KS2791PXBS I am a do-it-yourself person who replumbed the entire house when he moved in an old house years ago. The undermount Price Pfister faucet that I have is no longer made and is impossible to get parts for it. I looked around it extremely hard to find old fashioned faucets with cross handles. This one fit the bill. It looks nice, has ceramic valves and mounts underdeck and is made of metal. However, it mounts in 3 separate pieces which requires more work and uses plastic tubes to connect them. The instructions for the faucet state you need silicone caulk but never tells you where to use it. The instruction shows you mounting the spout and the deck but never tells you that you need to locate the mounting plate first. At least the parts diagram after investigation allowed me to figure it out. The valves mount from below but are held up by a housing from above. If you ever try to service the valves you would have to unscrew the housing from above and the valve will drop below the deck. I have never seen this approach. My previous faucet was held on by the base you unscrewed the trim to access the valve to replace and service the ceramic cartridge. The other item was only one handle had a red tag on it the other did not have its blue tag so I thought maybe I had been given the wrong part as the handles don’t turn the way I expected. But the instructions say no problem just rotate the right stem stop assembly 180 degrees. (This is a common feature of faucets). After contacting Kingston Brass I received this reply after a few attempts. Hello, It does not matter which way the handles turn, to reverse them whether it be clockwise or counter clockwise you will need to purchase the cartridges. We do not have separate ones, as I stated prior in this conversation, for cross and lever handles. As our faucets are ALL built upon lever handles and cross handles are an option we offer the handles will tend to work opposite with what most people are familiar with. You can either get used to the change or change the cartridge out to reverse the handle that makes you uncomfortable. All purchasing information has been given, this ticket will now be closed. Have a good day. The faucet looks nice and functions. But the aerator/ spout makes a fair amount of hissing noise and when you shut off the water the water it slows to a stop. All other faucets stop immediately. Not sure how this works since you always have water left in the spout but this one the water stream narrows and stops.

Wonderful faucet, but extremely expensive replacement parts.
Very nice faucet with no leaks. I dropped one ceramic cokd water cap, which broke. The seller wanted almost as much as the faucet costs for a replacement piece. Other than that, I'm very happy.

beautiful, high quality
beautiful and heavy feeling. but with these kind of hot and cold knobs, we thought counter clock-wise is on and clock-wise is off, like most fluid control valves. thats not the case. the hot for on, you turn counter clock-wise and the cold to turn on,is clock-wise. I get it might be that way so they can use the same faucet no matter which on/off handles you put on it. but I don't want to put the other handles on, I should of specified to send me two hot sides.

The media could not be loaded. I have had it installed a month the c on cold has fell off with no way to put back. Also the knobs turn the wrong way and the sprayer is extremely heavy. The fittings on it was different not universal so we a plumbing supply instead of lowes.

Great looking faucet!
This is a great looking kitchen faucet! I love the brushed nickel finish. This faucet goes great with our kitchen remodel and new quartz countertops. We have purchased other Kingston Brass faucets so this was a natural choice for us.

You do not get what you paid for. ☹
Wrong valves for the handles,received two hot water valves for lever type handles not cross handles. Wrong screws for handles,way to short. For all this money you would expect to get what you paid for. On the plus side the faucet,handles and sprayer are solid,just wished the correct valve for the cold water for this type handles was correct.
