Moen Replacement Part

I give it 4 stars for now, I shall return in a 3-6months on longevity. It's not my original part, I think my faucet has been discontinued so I cannot get it from Moen. So this Moen 136829 Replacement Part is as good as it gets for the price. The new one is connected on the right, on the left is mine, they look the same, mine was heavier.

Cheap copy

Not the same color, nor is it a good example of the original - feels cheap and doesn't weigh the same (probably has more plastic, than metal parts).

Works as Advertised

Not as heavy duty as original, much lighter, otherwise OK hope it lasts as long.

It works and looks fine, and it fixed the leak, but its a slightly cheaper part, with a slightly different finish

Mine leaked were you connect the hose to the pull out handle. This fixed the leak. The handle already comes with the filter washer, so you don't need to purchase it separately it has everything you need already. Don't separately purchase the cartridge filter that's listed on the parts diagram on moens website, BECAUSE IT DOSENT NEED IT IT'S ALREADY BUILT INTO THE HANDLE. It looks and works fine, AND NO MORE LEAKS! It fits right into the slot very good(not perfect) BUT ALMOST THE SAME. if you care here are a few things that are different. It has a slightly cheaper look and feel to it. The finish is not exactly the same BUT IT'S VERY CLOSE. only a very observant eye could tell, most won't notice any difference in the finish. The buttons on the top dont have as smooth as operation as the original they have more of a popping feel when you switch back and forth. With all that said I am very HAPPY I was able to fix it myself easily and not have to call a plumber. And no more leak puddles under the sink! When your taking your old handle off, make sure FIRST to double check that your turning the right way! LOL it's lefty loosy and right tighty. I though I was getting it loose but I tightened it to the point were it broke off. Only Untill I put it up to eye level and turned it around and looked at the hose from the bottom did I realize I was tightening it. STUPID MISTAKE ON MY PART but it can happen because of the angle you see when your trying to get it loose! When I realized this I pulled in the opposite direction and it came right off, but the old handle was already broken.

Perfect replacement

We’ve had the same faucet since our kitchen was redone about 2 years ago. The faucet just recently started leaking and I found this product as a replacement. Super easy to install.

Perfect Replacement

Purchased this replacement for my Moen Extensa pull out faucet. It was easy to install. The whole process from opening the package to running water out the new faucet took about five minutes. It is an exact match to the original that was installed when I built my home 15 years ago.

Replaces Extensa Sprayer from 2001

Our sprayer’s button slowly and then suddenly stopped working. This is a replacement part that does the job. As others have noted, it’s plastic and doesn’t feel anywhere near as nice as the piece I replaced, but it looks just fine and importantly the switch feels like an upgrade. It would be great if there were endless supplies of original-spec parts to replace broken parts decades after manufacture, but that’s not going to happen any time soon. So buy this and make your faucet work with a change in aesthetics, or you’ll need to buy a whole new faucet. As expected, Amazon’s shipping is incredible and got it to our door weeks ahead of the big box home improvement stores’ timelines.

OK Replacement But Way Overpriced

It does its job but the color was slightly different than original faucet and my main complaint is that it's way overpriced ($75?) for small plastic head replacement? Get that price down and you will have happy customers!
