Nephew loves them

My nephew loved this when I gave it to him for Christmas. He was skeptical when he opened the present, but I later heard that he had become obsessed with these.

Perfect for engineering-minded Nerf lovers

I bought this as a gift for my ten-year-old, who has long been a fan of Nerf as well as K'nex and LEGO. This was the perfect melding of his interests. He was thrilled to build his own Nerf gun, and we were pleasantly surprised at its power: it's comparable to a standard Nerf gun. The darts are slightly different than standard Nerf, but the tip still compresses to minimize the force with which it hits. The firing mechanism itself is a self-contained piece that works on compressed air, so you don't get to build the part that does the actual firing, but you do have to put together the frame of the gun and the trigger mechanism. So far my son has only built one version of the gun (the box comes with one set of printed instructions; the other instructions are available online), but we've both been very pleased with this toy so far.

Great Gift!

Purchased this for my nephew for Christmas and he loved it. He is 8 and found it easy to put together and use. Thinking about getting another so his siblings can play as well!

This was the perfect gift for my son! Took him about 2 hours on and off to get it fully put together though so if you're looking for something that takes a while...it might not be your item. It works great and packs a punch just like a Nerf gun! Great product!

Just like it says-build your own blaster!

I've always liked Nerf blasters, but the real fun in my opinion is modding which is something you can't do right out of the box. That being said, this new Cyber-X line from K'NEX is essentially just that-modding out of the box or an introduction to modding for beginners. Overall I really liked what the set had to offer and you can build 4 different blasters. The instructions for the main build are included on a printed sheet, and the other 3 can be downloaded from the Basic Fun website. This one was fairly simple to build and took about half an hour to put together Really satisfied with this purchase and will probably buy the other Cyber-X items!

Great gift for 11 yr old

My son loved this Christmas gift. It was not easy to assemble by himself but he did most of it. Kept him busy all day!
