Very sturdy and light weight
I’m making Stella’s fairy wings for Halloween and they’ve held up great. They’ve been dropped and held shape. One order made the outside shape of the two large top wings and one bottom wing. It’s pretty light and hasn’t collapsed when I’ve picked up the whole structure.

What the scultor ordered! Nice.
I am using this for figure armature, and need various weights. So much better than stiffer wires from the hardware store.

Worth every penny. Helped me make my best Halloween prop ever.
I ordered this stuff to make some cheap barbed wire to wrap around a baseball bat for my Halloween costume this year. After buying some fake barbed wire (because the seller posted a misleading picture) and being frustrated at the sad shoe string look, I scoured the internet trying to find different ways to make fake barbed wire. Everything from dipping strings in a grey paint/watered down glue compound, to even considering just buying some real barbed wire as this is just for Halloween and not meant to be a convention prop. Sadly real barbed wire is expensive and when I was about to throw in the towel I found this product. Naturally I opted to give this product and seller a chance as the picture clearly shows what you will get, the description is easy to understand, and I could get it quickly because of Prime. The way I figured it I could cut this stuff up, twist the longer pieces, and then bend the smaller pieces around the longer ones to make a more realistic looking barbed wire. I am happy to report that not only was this stuff easy to cut and craft with, it turned out amazing, and the best part of all is... this product costs $2.00 less then that sad looking Beistle fake barbed wire (glorified shoestring) I bought before. I would get this stuff again for sure, especially if I was doing some clay sculpture crafting as the material can be pretty sturdy. But if you are on the fence about it and you need this product for the same reason I did. I highly recommend it! See the attached photo to see the end result.

for what i use them for they are great...
for larger projects this isnt going to stand up.. they are very light weight bearing.. they cannot be used as a make shift stand... i'm currently working on an owl sculture.. the wires is able to hold the wing span up at a length of 12 inchs on each side.. and hold its form but i tried using the wires to create one solid skeleton for the bird..and that's a no go.. you will need stronger firmer wire for any base work for larger projects.. in the picture you can see one side of the wing and the base that i tried to use this wiring for.. once the other wing was completed it was falling over.. but the wings stayed up at that length.. so its very good wire..just not base creation worthy? or maybe i just needed more of the wire hope this helps oh .. the wire is easily shapeable...

Bit too soft for doll body, had black residue on it when handling
Bit too soft for doll body, had black residue on it when handling. Might work for better for other projects. It does cut with good cutters very easy if you hold the cutters opposite "upside down" which curves the edges of the wire or it will be a rough cut.

Perfect for Sculpting
This wire is easily manipulated and perfect for sculpting. I use this for my larger sculpts (primarily figures) with floral wire wrapped around the skeleton to hold clay better. I don't live in an area where armature wire is readily accessible in an art store, so this was a great find! I have seen reviews where people complain about the wire being too soft. That really depends on the application. As I said, I use it for sculpting. Once I have the basic form down I start to throw clay on it which reinforces the form I wanted. However, using this as the foundation to support a costume may be asking a bit much from this material. If it is going to be the sole support for a structure, I would recommend looking for something a little sturdier.

Good for my needs
This soft wire starts life as a long, thin piece. It is folded in half and rolled into a coil. I use it to make mockup frames for drawing. It has the advantage of being reusable so I can make adjustments to whatever creature I've outlined with the wire. Because It is easily manipulated, it won't hold its shape if you drape heavy fabric over it without proper inner support. It is lightweight, and when I'm done with a piece, I can easily roll it back up. The bent piece in the center of the hole in the illustration is where the crimp resides. It is easy to straighten with a little patience. However, I am not a professional sculptor, so this may be a bother to professionals and students seeking out a finer, flatter piece.

Nice
This served my purposes well. I'd like to reemphasize the point that other reviews have made: this wire comes in two 10-ft coils, not a continuous 20-ft one. I used it to make a frame for a witch hat for one of my cosplays, and it was pretty good. It's really soft as far as sculpting goes but does hold its shape well. It's also really light, which was nice because the entire 20 feet of wire did end up on my head.
