Not OEM replacement for my edger but lists as part number

I received the carb fast and was excited to install it and get my edger running. Right away I noted that the fuel pickup was too long to fit in the tank and the throttle body had no hole for the air filter holding rod. I removed the fuel pick up tube that was pressed in and cut it to fit in my tank but this was a real pain. I drilled the hole and used a tap set to fix the air cleaner issue and used the choke flap from my old carb to make the carb useable. The way this carb was set up there was no way to secure the air cleaner????? After fixing that with a drill and tap and die I was Thinking everything would now be right I couldn't get the edger to run right with the carb needle supplied with this item. It was not a fuel "needle" but lacked the tip. The edger would not run with the supplied needle screw provided. I used the needle valve from my old carb in this new carb as it had a spring to hold it secure and actually had a needle for the fuel adjustment. After canalbilizing my old carb to make this new one work I got the edger working great. This OEM part# carb was not what I expected. I will say that the gaskets were at least correct. My edger is running great thanks to me and not this product. I really feel ripped off amd wish I had just rebuilt the old carb for 21 dollars. Very upset
