it is great on the sofa!

it was about four inches too long for my sofa, but, i took a pair of sciscers and easily cut it. wonderful!

1-inch foam is inadequate for a chair seat

Arrived compressed, and it started decompressing as soon as I laid it out. It was its full 1-inch thickness in about 3 minutes. It's very nice high-density foam, exactly as advertised. But for reupholstering a chair seat, we need 1.5-inch high-density foam, which seems to be very hard to find. Fortunately for me, when I took the old materials off the chair seats, I found a sheet of .5-inch foam on each one. It's low-density and old, but I'm making do with it on top of the 1-inch foam. Not optimal, but okay. Here's why we need high density: The previous chair owners kept adding another layer of low-density foam every time they recovered the seats. By the time I took ownership, the stack was 6 inches high, and yet it squashed down to almost nothing when sat on. Six inches, I kid you not. Even my cat was daunted by that height.

This product is amazing! I have a brand new sofa!

I love this foam, it has transformed my sofa. 10 Stars! My sofa is 10 years old and I knew it needed replaced, but it was quite expensive and I still loved the style. After visiting multiple stores and hearing the order and shipping delay could be 3-4 months, I decided to restuff my current cushions while I waited for a new one. The foam arrived so quickly I got it before I could get back to the furniture store, and I'm so lucky it did. We washed the upholstery and cut the foam into 3 equal pieces. Then I took the old quilt batting that was in the original cushion, wrapped it around this new foam and inserted it into the clean upholstery. It sits better than the day it was delivered 10 years ago. This foam is dense, firm, and so comfortable. I prefer a firm cushion, both my partner and I are heavy, and this foam is incredibly supportive. It assists us in getting up off the couch because we aren't sunk down in it. I have no plans of ordering a new sofa. I think this will last for many years, I would purchase and replace again before furniture shopping.

cheaper that new cushions

patio cushions were sagging, bought this to replace foam inside both and worked great. way cheaper than buying new cushions and trying to match color.

Firm and Comfortable at the same time

I bought it in late Oct 2020, to replace my couch seat. It arrived on time, fitted perfectly even though it was 1 inch longer than the couch size. It is very comfortable and firm at the same time. I don't know how long it will last, but paying less than $100 to make a nice couch of $1800 useable and comfortable again is a bargain. The only downside is that you have to find the right COVER for it. I have found an extra large stretchable cover which gives you a range of sizes to fit. I got lucky and the covered was a good fit too.

New couch cushion!

I used this foam to create a bench cushion on my old couch after the regular cushions flattened too much. I bought an inexpensive slip cover that I put over the foam and cut the foam so that it is wedged in and doesn't slide out. This turned out to be one of my better DIY projects and so much more comfortable than the old flat cushions.

A great big piece of foam.

I used this to cut new cushions for sofa back cushions that were horribly disfigured due to dogs not knowing the right way to sit on a sofa. It’s firm enough to stand up to the dogs but comfortable enough that I can sit there if there aren’t enough dog hairs on me yet.

A Definite Buy!

Sooooo glad I took the plunge and bought this! I just replaced spring couch cushions using this and what a difference! It easily cut by scoring it over and over using a bread knife. The seat is now firm but oh so comfortable! In fact, I’m laying on it now writing this review! This is a definite buy - you won’t be disappointed (and if you know me, I’m terribly hard to please)!

Best sleep I have had in years.

I bought this as my mattress gave up the ghost. I was intending to use it as a temporary sleeping pad until I could pick out a new mattress. Unrolled is, let it stand for two days and slept on it. I and my bad back would like to say what a great night's sleep was had! I went out, bought an 84" cot and I am DONE!
