Very durable chairs.

The chairs are well made. The finish is very nice and they seem quite durable. They're not very comfortable to sit in for more than a few minutes.

Beautiful but must replace tips immediately.

I ordered 16 of these red chairs for my husband’s gray/red color-themed garage. They are really pretty! We put them on heavy duty fold down garage hooks that hold 4-5 chairs each. My complaint has to do with the tips on each leg. They are plastic, crack and fall off if you even look at them! Most of the chairs, we have never used, and the tips cracked just from being upright against a wall. I received more plastic tips free of charge from customer service, but that did not solve an unsolvable problem with the plastic ones. I ordered 7/8 Inch rubber tips that are perfect and do not crack.

Durable chairs

These almost made 5 stars, but big issues in unpacking. They are durable and comfortable. Because they were in same box, it was a level 10 to lift, and was no picnic getting them out of the box. They should be in 4 separate boxes. Not everyone can lift that.

Handy extra chairs for parties

I bought 2 sets of 4 of these chairs, to use as extra seating for large parties. They represent good value for the money. They are deeper than some of the cheaper chairs I looked at, which makes them more comfortable and more stable. I like that I can fold them up and store them easily in my basement in between uses. There were very minor scrapes on them from shipping. Each chair was in a plastic bag and then they were packed in a cardboard carton, in sets of 4. I would suggest putting a sheet of cardboard or bubble wrap in between the chairs, to keep them from bumping and rubbing. For my purposes, it was not severe enough to make me want to send them back, but such bumping could lead to scratches that in time could cause rusting, so better packaging would be recommeded.

Flash Furniture Hercules Series Triple Braced and Quad Hinged Red Metal Folding Chairs

I bought these chairs for extra seating for Thanksgiving dinner for my family. There would be fifteen of us. I had bought a folding table the previous year. I figured these smaller chairs would give us more seating at the tables instead of the larger dining room chairs. When the first set came in I was very impressed with the workmanship, stability, and even the beautiful shade of red. The packaging was superior. I immediately ordered another set. Everyone was very impressed by the chairs and the very reasonable price. These chairs look and feel like they should cost much more. We used them for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years, same people. I can't wait for another occasion to take them out. They are also easy to store when not in use. I would recommend the Flash Furniture Hercules chairs to anyone looking for good quality extra seating.

A steal for steel chairs!

Nice quality, great fire engine red color, and plenty sturdy enough to handle even my 220 pounds easily. They are rated to 300 pounds on Flash Furniture's website and I think they should be used to 250 pounds maximum for safeties sake. For the money(I paid less than $13.00 for each of them delivered), these are a steal for steel chairs that look like they will go the long haul. As with many others, mine arrived with one of the leg caps busted, but some Gorilla tape fixed that right up. Small price to pay for the cost IMHO. If you need good cheap chairs, you can do far worse here.

Strong chairs with reinforced frame

I have recently purchased a different four pack of square shaped steel chairs here on Amazon at a slightly higher price, which are advertised as able to hold up to a 400 lb. person's weight. Though this gray set is in the traditional curved shape, it is made of an even thicker steel than the square type, plus the frame has the same strong triple bars. My husband is a bit heavyset, and he actually prefers the comfort and strength of these gray open-seated curved chairs to the thinner steel square variety. Unless you require more back support (then choose the square type), this curved type is more comfortable, and if ordering through Amazon the boxed, individually plastic wrapped set arrives quickly and is a great value with the free shipping.

My folding chair saver

I wish I had gotten this chair earlier. I needed a chair for lots of things. I have spinal stenosis so it limits my standing still for very long. I use to drag my computer chair all over the apartment. The chair is somewhat smaller than older folding chair. I am a large lady and it works for me. The cost is low and I got free delivery. Now my computer chair stays at my desk. Since the chair folds it goes where it is needed.
