Great for literacy centers!

I use these in my first grade classroom. I absolutely love them! My students get so excited to practice their long vowel decoding skills.

Great for multiple students to use at once

I bought this set to use as a literacy station. I thought maybe I could split the bunch in half and get two sets out of it. However, I have enough to set up for six kids at one time. We disinfect in between uses and can let the whole class rotate through this activity. I'm always happy to find something that works well under the health restrictions we have with COVID.

They DO fit...

The dominos do indeed fit in the container as long as someone continually shakes the container while dropping the dominos back inside. Make it a game... you shake and your child drops in. Kind of a nuisance, but it does work. As far as “Make 100s of words” that is a huge exaggeration! Not nearly enough combinations to even get close to 100, let alone 100s. With that being said, our six year old enjoys playing, nonetheless.

Perfect tool to teach reading!

I love that the short vowels are printed in black and the long those are printed in purple so that it makes it easy to separate the sets to put away!.

Great product. Helps with reading and phonics.

My son likes these. We have been using them for a couple of days and it is already helping. We have just done one of the games on the instructions, but the others look good too. Also, the manufacturer really needs a jar that is a bit bigger. I can’t get them all back in the container.

My students love this activity. My only complaint is the container that the dominoes come in are a little small to hold all the dominoes. I have to place them in there carefully to make them fit, there is no way my kinder-3rd grade students can get them all in.

Fun activity, but the container is a little too small. This makes clean up difficult. I also wish they were magnetic.
